Pysenia had agreed to et Rhineas come to the palace and live with them with the condition of a royal pardon for Alistair so that he could watch his daughter closely.
Alistair had felt hopeful after a long time. It had been decades he had spent all those times drinking in the loneliness of his immense misery tearing his heart out with every beat. He had been nothing but hollow. He hadn't been able to feel any likeliness until Rhineas came along.
Alistair felt responsible for Rhineas, but then he learnt the truth about him. He knew all along that meeting Rhineas was not some mere coincidence but it was destiny.
It was planned accordingly as the god willed as the prophecy was unveling in front of Edgard's eyes he became more insecure and going paranoid.
Rhineas whereas found everything he wanted he had started to train for becoming the knight and be in the queen's regiment when princess Sanlysia became the queen of some kingdom. He was training hard and couldn't wait to be called sir Rhineas of Halem.
Alistair slowly noticed the closeness between his daughter and Rhineas the closeness din't bother him, but he was afraid that Rhineas might end up repeating the same mistakes that Alistair once did.
