Rhineas looked back to see Dalene’s eyes gilting ocean blue, her hair flying out of her hood like the ripples of water. Alistair and Rhineas hastily climbed Jiua.
‘Stop…,’ Rhineas cried, ‘… let us leave or pay the price with ashes.’
‘You come to seek our allegiance. You kill our men. And you threaten us? No, young boy.’ Lady Dalenes furiously sprinted at Rhineas. The waves erupted around her fingers and beneath her feet carrying her up in the air. Rhineas gasped at the wonder as the sea began to turn upside down.
‘Jiua go…,’ Rhineas whispered and the dragon flapped her wings to take the flight but a big wave broke from the sea and threw the dragon over.
Jiua struggled to keep her balance but got overturned by the mighty wave. Rhineas and Alistair held on tightly on Jiua as they fell into the sea.
Jiua moved her paws trying to lift her heavy body out of the water, smacking her wings violently against the sea. The sea reluctant to let them escape waves after waves crashed them and compelled them into the depth of the ocean.
With a big thrust Jiua pushed herself up and her head was above the ocean. Rhineas and Alistair still clung to her neck under water. She jerked her wings and emerged from the waters into the open air.
Lady Dalenes afloat on the water waiting for them. She casted another wave on them but Jiua flew her way put swiftly.
Another wave from all side came to attack them Jiua managed cut through the wave above her drifted into the skies.
Rhineas and Alistair coughed up the water from their lungs, desperately gasping for their breaths.
