"Ravena, Kael wants to meet with you," she said, her voice firm but polite , which I found unusual and strange.
I hesitated, not sure if I was ready to face Kael. I got scared thinking of what would happen if he finds out why I went missing . "What does he want?" I asked, trying to sound nonchalant.
Akira shrugged, her shoulders barely rising . "He didn't say. But he seemed pretty upset ."
I sighed, knowing I couldn't avoid Kael forever. "Fine. When and where?" I asked, already knowing the answer.
"Now. At the old oak tree," Akira replied,her tone dismissive.
