" hey jas which school are you applying for college ? " I asked my best friend who was busy with his laptop
"I'm thinking of unical or unilag " he said without raising his face from his laptop
" what are you doing that you can't even acknowledge my presence buddy?"
" I'm searching up for job vacancies so that I can save up enough money for my tuition fee u know I always work during. holidays" he said with a sad face ,
I inched closer to him to hug and console him , it's not that I came from a rich family , I and Jass are both orphans but my uncle pays for my school fees so I only work for my upkeep so i understand how he feels
" jass u know is gonna be ok verry soon and we re in this togepther right?" i said to him
" hell yeah !!" he smilled up to me
"juddy u which one a re u applying for ?"
"me? i have not thought about that , but i always have university of Calabar in mind so that should be it " i said while playing with his hair
the sudden stop of the car joltted me back to reality " we are here miss" the driver said
then i noticed that i'm the only one the taxi
" huh when did the yummy guy get down ?" the driver just smiled without saying anything
