Jessica shook her head in the bathtub as she knew that Dylan used to make love to her in the bathroom whenever they bathed together as a couple, and now he was avoiding her.
She resumed bathing in the white bathtub with her sponge, soap, and water.
After she was through with her bath, she rinsed her body and walked out of the bathroom and into the bedroom to dress up.
Dylan had already worn his white robe and sat on the bed to sleep, feeling tipsy from the alcoholic drink he had consumed at Rosie's home.
Dylan saw Jessica step out of the bathroom and immediately stared away from her and toward the wall, as he lay on the bed to sleep.
Furthermore, Dylan turned his back on Jessica and faced the wall. She frowned at her husband's behavior, knowing that he was truly avoiding her.
Jessica walked up to their wardrobe to take out a nightgown to wear. She tried so hard not to cry, as she didn't want to divorce Dylan. She knew that he had been behaving strangely lately, before he was absent from home for two days in a row. She wondered in her mind, *Who is the new woman in his life now?*
Jessica stood searching for a nightgown to wear for hours. Even though she had touched the white nightgown she wanted to wear and was supposed to take it out and put it on, she stood beside the wardrobe, lost in her thoughts as hot tears freely streamed down her eyes.
Jessica finally snapped out of her trance, took out the white nightgown she had been holding, and wore it.
She stared back at her sleeping husband on the bed. Her eyes moved to the divorce papers on the headboard, and she shook her head in sadness, before walking up to the bed to join her husband in sleeping.
Dylan was fast asleep, but as Jessica climbed onto the bed, he felt her heavy weight press on the mattress, and his blue eyes subtly opened a little as he stared at the pretty woman's face on the bed with him.
Seeing that the pretty woman was his wife—whom he was about to divorce—and that she was sobbing too, Dylan sat up on the bed and sleepily asked her, "What's wrong, babe?"
Jessica sniffled and wanted to reply to her husband, but Dylan sleepily lay back on the bed again and fell asleep.
The alcohol hadn't cleared from his system yet, and he was already exhausted, having spent half of the time from when he closed from his office work at 5 p.m. with Rosie in her room. He needed to rest.
Dylan turned his back on Jessica, adjusted his pillow properly underneath his head, and resumed sleeping.
Jessica blinked her tears away as she sat on the bed, looking at her sleeping husband for a moment.
Not wanting to accept the fact that they were going to divorce the following day, Jessica thought to be the good wife she was and wrapped her left arm around Dylan's waist, moving close to him on the bed, as he had his back to her.
She cuddled up beside him, inhaling his manly scent as she hugged him to find warmth.
Jessica rested her head on Dylan's left arm to caress his face and jaw, but Dylan inhaled her sweet blossom scent, and his blue eyes subtly opened again.
Dylan sprang up from the bed even in his drunken state and pushed Jessica's arm off from hugging him.
Dylan looked at Jessica angrily and asked her, "What's wrong with you, Jessica? Why don't you want me to sleep this night?"
Dylan was seated on the bed with Jessica, seeing that she didn't wear any bra underneath her big breasts, and her white nightgown was almost transparent, revealing her boobs to his view. He stared away, and she replied, "I want you, Dylan."
"But I don't want you anymore, Jessica. I want a divorce, and you should sign the divorce papers tomorrow and leave. I'm not joking about it," Dylan curtly said.
He swiftly took his pillow away from the bed and drunkenly stepped down, wearing his black slippers to leave their bedroom.
Dylan snatched his pillow away from Jessica's hands as she tried to stop him from leaving by holding onto it.
Dylan walked out of the room, leaving Jessica alone in their master bedroom. She cried out, "No, sweetheart! Wait! Where are you going?"
Jessica hurriedly stepped down from the bed and chased after Dylan, as he exited their sitting room upstairs and went downstairs to the guestroom to sleep.
"Dylan! Open this door!" Jessica stood in front of the guestroom door and banged heavily on it for Dylan to unlock it from within, as he had locked it from inside.
Dylan ignored Jessica and went to the bed in the guestroom to sleep, since she wanted to seduce him in their bedroom.
"Dylan! Open this door now! It's me, your wife!" Jessica cried as she stood in front of the guestroom door, banging heavily on it.
She looked at the corridor clock in the passage and saw it was after 12 a.m.
Jessica shook her head and went back upstairs to their master bedroom to sleep alone, not wanting to wake their kids.
The master bedroom was the biggest room in the mansion, and Jessica walked toward the king-sized bed covered in white bedspread and climbed on it slowly to sleep.
She lay on the bed and tried to sleep. It was Wednesday night. Jessica knew that her two kids would be going to school the following Thursday morning, as they attended a day school.
She knew she had to sleep on time, so she could wake up early the next morning to prepare her two kids for school. But sleep was far from her eyes as she kept crying on the bed, thinking about the new woman who had come into her husband's life to destroy her marriage and break her previously happy home.
Jessica continued to wonder about how she could lose weight, impress Dylan, and become the slim woman he wanted again.
She knew that she had tried losing weight before, but it wasn't easy for her as she loved eating a lot of food and sleeping too, since she was always at home and not going out to work anymore.
Jessica had spoken to her best friend, Esther Friday, about her plans to reduce weight.
Esther had advised her that the best way to lose weight was to hit the gym. Yet she had been exercising daily, but losing weight hadn't been easy for her.
Jessica sniffled on the bed and fell asleep. She dreamed where a beautiful, short, fair-skinned woman walked into her home with a big black traveling box of clothes in her hand.
This short woman wasn't Jessica in the dream, as she was taller.
The short woman looked at Jessica irritably and ordered her to serve meals.
Jessica saw herself serving this beautiful slim woman in her dream, as the woman sent her away from her husband's home.
She tried to plead with the woman, "Please, you cannot send me away from my husband's house. Leave Dylan alone so that he can look at me, his wife."
But the woman replied, "No. I have known Dylan longer than you have, and your time here in his life is up, so go away."
Jessica saw Dylan throw her box of clothes outside their matrimonial home, and he didn't even mind their kids' presence.
He told her, "Leave my house, Jessica. This marriage is over between us. Go away and get out of my life!"
"No, Dylan! Please... Don't send me away.. I love you.. Please, Dylan.."
Jessica continued struggling on the bed in her sleep as she lay on the vast white bed in the master bedroom, dreaming. She continued pleading with Dylan in her sleep, "Please, Dylan, don't send me away, please.."
Jessica watched as Dylan rushed to her in her dream to drag her away by her left wrist, and to throw her outside their mansion. She cried out to him more, "Please, Dylan! You cannot send me away, Dylan! Dylan! Dylan, please!"
"I'm here, Jessica! Wake up!" Dylan shook Jessica vigorously on the bed to wake her up. He sat down on the bed beside her and shook her again and again to wake her from her nightmare.
When Dylan had woken up from sleep in the guestroom earlier, he had a headache and remembered that he had returned home the previous night with the divorce papers Rosie Andrew had given him to give to Jessica, and he had asked Jessica to sign them.
