Dylan loved Jessica very much, but Rosie was already back in his life.
Rosie was very beautiful and, most importantly, slim and simple, the way he would have preferred Jessica to be.
So, it would be easy for Dylan to carry Jessica up to his chest and make love to her while standing in their bedroom, whenever he wanted to.
But Jessica was too heavy for him to carry up now and do all those crazy lovemaking styles that he used to do with her.
Because of her chubby body, their sêxual affairs as husband and wife had reduced and become dull. He could not do all those fun things that he liked doing with Jessica anymore.
Jessica was mostly preoccupied with her housework and taking care of their two kids, and Dylan did not like how their fun moments had died down.
Dylan found himself bullying Jessica every day about her chubby body, but she would smile through it, not knowing that he was serious.
No matter what Dylan did to annoy Jessica, she would only smile at it and never get annoyed with him. He became frustrated because he could not go out of their matrimonial home to cheat on her or get any random woman to sleep with.
It would ruin his reputation and his company if anyone who knew him saw him in a clubhouse or coming out of a hotel room with a random woman who was not his wife.
Jessica’s father was also a billionaire in their state and an influential man.
Dylan knew that he could not cheat on Jessica and have the wild fun and pleasure he always desired. But with Rosie back in the country, they had reunited.
Dylan visited Rosie in her home, and she told him that she was still single. She even encouraged him to divorce Jessica so that they could be together.
In Rosie’s words, “Dylan, babe, you’re not the first man who will divorce his wife, and you won’t be the last man. So, please divorce that woman you have at home so that we can marry, as you promised to marry me before, since I was sixteen years old.”
Dylan remembered that he had been fûcking Rosie in her home when she told him about divorcing Jessica. He had carried Rosie up to his chest, with her two slender legs crossed around his waist, in that particular s*x style that he loved the most.
Dylan agreed to divorce Jessica so that he would not feel guilty about cheating on her.
Rosie even helped him get the divorce papers ready, as he could not believe that he was divorcing Jessica.
Dylan could not go to the courthouse or speak to his lawyer about it. He only gave Rosie his full name and his wife’s full name, and he had not even read the divorce papers that Rosie had helped him prepare.
Dylan still loved Jessica after all she had done for him, and a part of him did not want to divorce her, as she was his wife and the mother of his two kids.
Jessica had never done anything wrong to Dylan, aside from the fact that she had become fat. She truly loved him and had supported him in becoming the billionaire he was today.
Dylan stepped out of the guest room where he had slept the previous night and entered the living room. He saw his two kids playing and running around in the living room at that early hour of the day.
It was already after 8 a.m., and Dylan wondered what Jessica was still doing upstairs in their bedroom instead of preparing their two kids for school and taking them there.
“Daddy! Daddy!” Caleb and Nina both rushed to hug Dylan's legs when they saw him step out of the guest-room corridor and into the living room.
Dylan carried Caleb up to his chest with his right arm and Nina with his left arm. He asked them, “No school today?”
Nina looked so much like Jessica, with her pretty fair face and cute, chubby cheeks, while Caleb resembled Dylan, with his dark skin and short black hair.
Caleb shook his head and replied to his father, “I don’t know, Dad.”
“Hmm, okay. Wait, let me find out from your mummy first. Don’t play rough games with your sister, okay? I’m coming back,” Dylan said as he proceeded to climb the living room stairs. He knew that he had sacked their last maid and mandated Jessica to do all the housework and take care of their kids, as she could not just sit at home all day while leaving all the work to their maid.
Dylan went upstairs and walked into the bedroom. He saw Jessica crying on the bed in her dreaming state and calling out his name loudly as she screamed.
Dylan did not know when he rushed over to Jessica, scooped her up in his arms, and tried to wake her from her dreaming state.
“Jessica, babe, it’s me, Dylan. Wake up. I’m here now, babe.”
Dylan shook Jessica gently to wake her up as she kept calling out his name and crying, “Dylan, Dylan, please don’t send me away. I’m sorry, Dylan. Dylan, please!”
“I’m here, babe. I won’t send you away. Wake up now, Jessica. I’m here,” Dylan said.
Dylan did not know if it was one of Jessica’s tricks to stop him from divorcing her, but he had never seen her in that state before. It worried him so much as he finally woke her up.
Jessica’s forehead and face were covered in sweat as she cried and begged Dylan in her dream. She heard his deep, masculine voice speaking so close to her ears. Her blue eyes fluttered opened, and she looked up at his handsome black face in front of her, meeting his sharp blue eyes.
“Dylan…” Jessica slowly called her husband’s name to be sure that he was really the one. She stretched her right hand upward to touch his chin and fine jawline, wanting to be sure that he was truly there with her and not a dream, as she had thought.
Jessica caressed Dylan’s jaw and blushed as she met his strong blue gaze. She could not believe that he was truly there with her in their bedroom, as she remembered that he had left the bedroom the previous night, leaving her to sleep alone on their big bed.
Dylan saw that Jessica was finally awake. He met her unique blue eyes on him, carefully sat her up on the bed, and moved away from her.
He stood up from the bed and stared coldly at her face.
Dylan raked his short black hair in frustration as he met Jessica’s gaze.
Jessica felt embarrassed to know that she had cried throughout the previous night and in her sleep. She had even cried out in real life as a result of the nightmare.
The dream looked so real. Jessica had seen Dylan throw her things outside, but as she kept crying and calling out his name.
Dylan finally came back to his senses and did not send Jessica away. He became confused about the strange woman in their home, and the strange woman angrily left after Dylan refused to send Jessica away.
Jessica knew that she had to consult her pastor to pray against any strange woman who was planning to destroy her home and marriage. She looked at Dylan as he stood beside their bed, raking his short black hair while staring away from her.
His former gentle smile had disappeared, and his expression had become strict again. Dylan finally asked her, “Aren’t the kids going to school today?”
“The kids?” Jessica looked perplexed, as she had completely forgotten about her two kids. She was still seated on the bed in her white nightgown.
She used the hem of her white nightgown to wipe the sweat and tears from her forehead, and then sniffed and asked Dylan, “Which kids?”
Dylan’s expression hardened as he asked her, “Our kids, Jessica? Aren’t they going to school today?”
“Oh! I forgot! They’re already late,” Jessica said.
She jumped down from the bed and was about to rush out of the bedroom when she remembered that she was not wearing a bra or panties.
Jessica quickly walked back to the wardrobe, took out her bra and panties, and put them on, not minding that Dylan was watching her.
Dylan was still standing beside the bed. Jessica hurriedly took her white jacket and put it on over her white nightgown, before exiting the bedroom.
She rushed downstairs to the living room to meet her two children, as their rooms were still downstairs on the second side of the mansion.
