Dylan immediately went downstairs to confront Florence if she knew anything related to Rosie and Frederick's affair when Frederick had visited the mansion the previous weekend.
Florence was inside the kitchen, stirring the big pot of soup with a big spoon that she had just prepared. She saw Dylan walk into the kitchen and wondered what he wanted, as Dylan hardly came into the kitchen.
Florence immediately covered the pot of bitterleaf soup and asked Dylan, "What do you want, sir?"
Dylan breathed out his seized anger first, not wanting to scare Florence away, and he asked her, "Where were you the previous Saturday when Frederick visited here? I think it is yesterday, Sunday, right?"
"Yes, sir," Florence nervously replied, and she wondered why Dylan was asking her about Frederick.
