Part 4

Athea couldn't believe it. She had three mates. Three Alphas. Triplets. Drop-dead gorgeous triplets. The omega just meekly stared at all of the Alphas with uncertainty. What was she going to do? For someone who believed that she would never find a mate it absolutely baffled her. Earlier in the morning, she rolled her eyes at Beth's comment about finding Alpha. Now she had three of them. Her eyes comically widened as she thought about staying with them. How was she going to stay away from when they are supposed to live under the same roof? Absolutely ridiculous. She stared at the first Alpha with his piercing dark brown eyes and mop of hair falling on his forehead. His jaw was set tight as if he wanted to run away than stay there. But there was just something about his scent that made her want to walk into his arms but she refrained from doing it. She felt her breath hitch when she noticed the way he was dressed so casually. Even though they are wolves they mostly wear two set of clothes, and omegas have to wear three. But the Alpha in front of her was just in a white plain shirt and a dark blue thick coat and his dark skinnies. No gloves or scarf. Not even a beanie. How strong was his Alpha? Her eyes shifted to the other Alpha whose cheeks were tinted pink and Athea assumed it was because of weather. He had same colour eyes, only lighter in shade and his hair was pulled back instead of falling on the forehead. And the Alpha was wearing a black full-sleeved shirt with a thick beige fur jacket and black skinnies. But unlike his triplet, he had a black beanie on his head. The last Alpha stood tall, his attention focused on assessing her room. He had his hair in a neat quiff, his high cheekbones and pointed nose accentuating his maroon turtleneck shirt with stripes jacket. And for a moment she thought that he might be modelling for the high-end fashion line. His wrist was adorned with an expensive watch, probably Rolex and he looked out of a magazine with his black ankle boots. Athea should greet the Alphas and maybe bow down but there was no submission, no acknowledgement. As if they sensed her lack of movement towards them the Alpha with white shirt sent out a low growl. It was a growl of dominance and one that demanded submission from any and all omegas in his presence. Athea whimpered, moving back at the sound, hair standing at the back of her neck. Her omega was asking her to submit to the Alphas but Athea was adamant and instead dropped down the bracelet she was clutching. As she bent down to pick it up, to right the situation, but another growl from another Alpha made her panic. She didn't know what to do. Her inner omega was terrified of doing something wrong; of making the Alphas so mad that he refused his protection. She tossed the bracelet away and scrambled over to the three Alphas. They were standing in a line as if they were in the military. With her hands shaking and heart pounding, she stood in front of them. Athea was instantly hit by the  powerful scent from the Alphas. It was strong aftershave combined with their natural scent. As it enveloped her it made her ease drastically. She blinked up several times at the three Alphas, a bit shocked to see that they were staring back. The stare  didn't make her uncomfortable or uneasy. And it was surprising since she felt eerie and scared around Alphas ever since that incident. Athea opened and closed her mouth several times before gathering the nerve to speak. "Umm... May I know your names?" She twisted her hands together.   The Alpha in white shirt scoffed, "You're speaking to us?" "Without addressing us?" The other one with stylish suit spat as if expecting her to bow her head or whine pathetically. But Athea snapped her head up and rolled her eyes. She was not going to kiss their feet for protecting her. They can dream. "You can't speak to me like that" Athea crossed her arms and c****d a hip. "Archer stop it" The Alpha in black shirt nudged at his brother. Oh. The Alpha in the white shirt was called Archer. "She needs to know Aron" Archer sneered looking at his brother. "He's right" The stylish dressed Alpha added. Aron groaned, "Not you too Aries" Athea quietly heard everything. So they were all named like Greek Gods and she would have laughed if they didn't resemble one. Archer. Aron. Aries. She silently tested their names. Aries raised an eyebrow, moving forward. "Oh?"He asked, a half-smile gracing his lips. "Why can't we speak to you in that manner?"   Athea narrowed her eyes at him. Was he joking? She hoped that because she can't live with two stuck up Alphas. Aron was nice tho. "Because you're not my Alphas"   Archer chuckled lowly, shaking his head like it was the funniest thing he heard. And she wanted to choke him. "Oh but we are a little one, actually your mates" Archer smirked while pointing to the area where the bond mark was supposed to be. It made her red hot with anger and lust. How dare he? As if she was going to let him mate with her. Aries airily added, "And we need you to respect us for taking care of you."   The omega huffed. "I don't need taken care of. Thank you"   She noticed the hard look on Archer at that and his teeth gritted together. It scared her that he was going to snap his own jaw at the rate. As he opened his mouth to say opened he closed it and looked over his shoulder. It was their parents. They were standing near the door with hesitant smiles on their faces. Athea wanted to tell her mother that she would be living with stuck up brutes for mates. But at the worried look on her face and recalling the earlier breakdown she bit her tongue. "Is everything alright?" Elisa asked, addressing her daughter. "Yes, mum. We were just talking. And the Alphas promised that they will never let anything hurt me."  Joseph cooed, "That's what we like to hear" From the corner of her eyes, she noticed Aron frown like he couldn't believe she was lying. And Aries and Archer looked pissed, which was nothing new actually. "Let's get downstairs and have a meal before you leave" Her mother softly said moving forward. "She's going with us today?!" Archer asked turning towards his father. But Joseph spoke up, "Is that going to be a problem?" Aron cleared his throat and shook his head. "No, sir. Not at all. We were just worried because we haven't moved to the new cabin yet" The elder Alpha, looked like their father held back a snort and he put up a weak smile, "That's nothing to worry about. You all can move in together and pack members will help with shifting" The omega wanted to giggle at the way Aries was glaring at his father. But then again it made the heart clench that they didn't want to stay with her. "It's decided then. Athea will come back with us" Athea frowned at the lady hanging off the Alpha's arm. She didn't look like triplets mother. Also, the malicious look in her eyes scared Athea. *** Athea grew emotional as they were done with the meal and she was ready to go. It was her home for twenty years. She couldn't let go easily. After bidding goodbye to all the staff members and pack members, she slid closer to Aron. The Alpha immediately smiled at her. She watched as Archos, the triplets father and Cara, she was his new omega pulled their coats on. "I am excited about the next pack meeting. It's going to be huge" Archos grinned. Her father, Joseph laughed, "Yeah and we will bring every one of us to your packhouse, eh?" "Obviously" Athea choked back as her father hugged her and she rested her head on his shoulder. "I trust that you will take good care of my angel here. She is our life" She could easily pick Aries grunt and Archer's soft sigh followed by Aron's 'of course sir'. It felt too much at that moment. As Athea stepped towards her mother, tears escaped her eyes. She couldn't let her go. Elisa softly whispered, "I know honey. And make sure they treat you right, like their Luna." Athea nodded her head. She didn't know what to say anymore. *** A few hours later she was standing in the Romanos packhouse. It was huge and homely. And overcrowded. All of them were excited to meet her but she was tired and wanted to rest. "Can I see our cabin, Alpha?" Athea asked politely, a yawn escaping her lips as she looked at Aron. His nose flared and eyes darkened but then he quickly nodded his head.    "It's not yours omega." Archer snapped, pushing the doors of the cabin. "This is just temporary and you're a guest who needs protection" He added afterwards, turning around with his lips pressed together. Athea waited for his frown to go away but he just stared at her got few seconds. It was going to be a long day. She already knew. ***
