*Grandpa, I already told you I have an urgent meeting to attend at the office.” Williams stuttered. His nostril flared as he struggled to control his anger, grinding his teeth.

Lucy was tongue-tied, unable to move a muscle. “ Grandpa I……..”

She was interrupted by William's grandfather: “ Both of you get into the car, I will drop you at the concert venue. Don't worry I'm not the one driving, my driver will take us there, “ he said, entering the car.

They both entered the car knowing fully well nothing could be done about it rather than to obey because Edward (William's grandfather) doesn't go back on his word.

“ But grandpa I…….”

" We are already there. Both of you head in before it start. Hurry.” He said smiling.

They both stepped down from the car.

“ Okay, grandpa, you can go now. Goodbye. Lucy muttered, waving her hands and forcing a smile.

“ Don't bother yourself, I'm not going until I see both of you head in because unfortunately I know Williams very well, he can pretend to attend and sneak back to work.“ he smirked.

“ Have fun, enjoy yourselves.”

As they were going in Lucy was still looking back to see if William's grandfather was still there. To her surprise he was there, he smiled at her using his hands to tell her to keep going.

“ Why is he still there?” Lucy asked.

" He's not going to leave, he will probably wait till the concert starts, so just forget about it and focus on the concert.” Williams replied. Holding his hand loosely behind his back.

" Oh, i see.” She said, nodding her head.

The artist started the concert with a lovely song that made Lucy move her head side to side. When the song ended, the whole crowd were just shouting.

“Welcome, my fans and friends, to my music concert! thanks for coming. So it is a special event that I have prepared for audience members today. We have taken song requests that also come with a special story with them.” the artist said, smiling.

"The crowd roared in excitement.

" Wow, they are actually taking song requests." She whispered to Williams. Grinning.

" I will read the first song request on my list,"the artist said as he opened a paper.

" I have been a fan of yours for a long time now, so I bought today’s concert tickets and gave them to a friend as her birthday present."

" Awwwwwwwww,”the crowd shouted. As he continues reading it.

“ She has been a amazing friend of mine for five years, she was there to comfort me when I was going through a lot. She has always been a constant support, but she doesn't have a boyfriend yet, so I hope she will go there and even better if she goes there with a partner.

I ask that you gift her with one of your wonderful songs.

Row D, seat 34 and 35. Are you here? Can you give us a wave?” The artist screamed in excitement.

Meanwhile, Lucy was so emotional that she was crying the whole time remembering the memories of her and Ethan. That even made her cry the more, Williams gave her his handkerchief to wipe her tears, but as she heard her seat number, she quickly controlled her tears.

As light and camera move toward their direction. The whole crowd was just shouting in excitement.

“ You actually came with a boyfriend," he said.

“ No…. no…no.. he's not…. She stammered, forcing a smile.

“ I guess your friend who got you your tickets had his wish come true. I'm sure he will be happy when he sees that you're happy.

Congratulations, I will go ahead and sing the song I have prepared for you,"the artist stuttered, mouthing a smile.

As the artist was singing, Lucy couldn't control her tears. She cried throughout the concert.,

“ Thanks for coming with me to the concert,” Lucy muttered. Lowering her head and staring at her feet.

" No, you don't need to thank me, go and thank my grandpa because he's the reason I'm here with you.” He replied rudely.

“ Okay."

“ You cry a lot," he said in a mocking tone.

“ Not actually, everything was so emotional. Ohh your handkerchief, I will wash it and bring it for you tomorrow,” she muttered, wincing.

She quickly entered a taxi to avoid any embarrassment.

The next day, Lucy went to Ethan's restaurant, wanting to thank him for giving her the concert tickets. But she saw him kissing his ex girlfriend Jasmine.

Back then, in college, Ethan’s girlfriend broke up with him. During that time, Lucy was there to comfort him. Lucy knew that she was cheating on him but didn't tell him. When Jasmine found out that Lucy knew her secret, she hated Lucy so badly by trying to ruin her friendship with Ethan, but it didn't happen because she was too smart to know what was going on. Jasmine becomes jealous of Lucy, knowing that Ethan likes her a lot.

Lucy couldn't believe what she was seeing. She was so still, unable to move a muscle or say anything. They didn't notice her at first until the bag she was holding fell from her hands.

“ What am I seeing? I can't believe this. He told me that he had broken up with his girlfriend, so when did they come back together?” She questioned herself, picking up her bag.

“ Ohhhh I'm sorry for interrupting you both, I will get going.” She muttered, walking staggeringly out of the restaurant.

“ Lucy, I know you must be shocked to see me with Jasmine. Yes, we broke up, but we are back together now,” he said. Trying to chase after her, but Jasmine stops him.

“ What are you doing? Were you literally going to follow her just like that and leave me here?" Jasmine yelled, baring her teeth and her muscles quivering.

“ No, Jasmine isn't what you are thinking," he pleaded. Holding her hands.

“ Then what?"She asked and angry left him without waiting for him to reply. Leaving Ethan in a confused state.

Later that night, Lucy was so restless. Thinking about what she saw earlier even made her more anxious. She was staring at the ceiling, rolling from side to side of the bed, trying to sleep but couldn't.

She suddenly got a call from Williams.

“ I'm at the front of your house. Come out, I want to see you."

“ What?"she screamed.
