Chapter Fourteen
Once I’d finished my daily opening routine at the library, I settled down at my computer to use some of the online resources and databases. If there was anything in public files on Mike and his pickle business, this librarian was going to find it.
I started off simple with the Secretary of State’s website. I found the corporate filings for the pickle factory. I noted that the state of incorporation was Louisiana. That made sense since Mike and Nellie moved to Miller’s Cove from there. I surfed around some of the government and business resources I liked to use to see if Mike had any complaints against him.
