I slowly started to gain consciousness when I heard inaudible and unclear voices talking to each other. When I opened my eyes, I couldn’t get a clear view immediately, there were only blobby and unclear shapes until the slight slowly adjusted.
“Wha-what happened?” I asked, my throat dry. I looked around to see if there was anything I could drink when someone handed me an already opened water bottle. I quickly placed it on my mouth and felt the cold liquid running down my throat. That was the most delicious and satisfying drink that I had in a while.
