I stared off into space as I was walking down the hallway on the way back to the classroom. Times like this make me want to lock myself in my room because feelings are just too overwhelming sometimes. I feel like no matter what I do, I can’t seem to do anything right.
The hallway was empty for once and the sunset was peeking through the ceiling-high windows. Everything around was in a shade of orange and yellow and the world seemed peaceful. I sighed as I stared outside in the field where students were playing frisbee. On the other side, a bunch of students was surrounding a tree while a hybrid with features of a lizardman came climbing down with a shuttlecock on his mouth. They continued playing badminton right after.
