“What the—” I pushed Irene away and we both rolled over before a boulder crushed us. It instead landed on the tent we were staying in. Everything was in chaos. I stood up and grabbed Irene’s arm to stand her up.
Goblins, Earth golems, and other monsters suddenly appeared out of nowhere, destroying our things and fighting with our friends. A goblin, a monster smaller than a human with greenish skin, piranha-like teeth, and bead-like eyes, came running with a small ax in its hand. These creatures are known for capturing young children and stealing gold. They often come in groups of ten to fifteen.
They usually live in deep, dark caves in unexplored forests, but how did they appear in the middle of this forest? Did they pass through the boundary that we left with the backup
