“Are you okay now? Can you walk?” Sigrid asked me after I calmed down. I nodded at him and stood up. I patted the leaves that got stuck on my clothes while he went and picked up my katana and gave it to me.
“Thank you,” I said and inserted it on the sheath. Sigrid picked up the bag and wore it and looked around if there was something important that we left.
I bit my lip, feeling slightly embarrassed because of my outburst earlier. But aside from that, I feel so much better and my heart feels lighter. It’s also relieving to know that there’s a chance that Sigrid can control his abilities without being taken over. This will definitely be a hidden card that we can use in the future.
“Let’s go?” he asked. “it’s not that far anymore, since we sprinted for a long time.”
