Chapter 16

1940 Words
Even in the world's fastest Blackbird, the return trip is still not a short time, after all, the United States and Iraq are really far away from each other. Blackbird fighter, in addition to the X-Men and Margaret, but also more Tony Stark, as well as in the Gulf region as a representative of the U.S. military, looking for Tony for a long time Colonel James Roddy. It was not the first time that Colonel Roddy had known of the X-Men. The team of mutants was actually in a near-legalized official position in the United States of America, and in recent years had traveled to Washington regularly to participate in the congressional fight for more mutant rights. Over the past few decades, they have used their powers wisely, working together to defend humanity and mutants. Even this participation in the rescue of Tony Stark was known to the U.S. military, and although it wasn't explicitly stated, it was clear that the military wouldn't stand in the way. Inside the cabin, Colonel Roddy looked at Tony's chest, "What the hell is this?" "Fusion energy." Tony answered him perfunctorily, then looked at Margaret, "Ma'am, why did you just molest me?" Margaret: He's afraid he's been dropped on his head. The eyelash-spirit goes on to say, "Gee, you must be madly obsessed with me to be in Iraq." Margo ignored him as if he were a cloud of air in front of her. She turned her head to Charles Xavier-- Professor X was letting her hear him alone through his telepathic powers. "The fate of others is none of your business, and there is absolutely no need for you to care about the slurs of others, especially when they say that those men died because of you." The annals of France show that Marguerite had had numerous lovers in her life, but death always took her beloved, as if the men who did not die well had all perished because of her. Tony Stark was not her lover, but the spell was growing clearer in her mind because of his kidnapping. Across the centuries, Margo used to think everything was new. But if the philandering admirer, Tony Stark, is killed in an attack, it's as if her destiny is caught in a deadly circle--the She's still the same French slut who's been vilified as the ultimate villainess, and all the changes she's sought are a joke. Inexplicably, these strange moods even bring her to the Bay Area. Upon seeing Mr. Stark waving in the vast desert, it was as if the clouds were lifting from her cursed and tragic fate. And before her eyes, at last, was marvelous new life. The eyelash-spirit looked at Margo with displeasure, and with her other, unbroken hand, she broke over the brunette's body. He should be thankful that Wolverine Logan wasn't here at the moment, or Mr. Dutiful Bodyguard would have broken this healthy arm of his, I'm afraid. Tony Stark's big, caramel-colored eyes widened as he muttered, "What are you looking at him for? Does his hair grow back?" Margaret smiled and stabbed the knife, "Because he's good looking and he looks good without hair." Off to the side, Colonel Roddy nodded subconsciously in agreement. This Professor X was really good-looking and had an exceptionally outstanding elegant gentlemanly demeanor. Tony glared at him in exasperation, then looked at Professor X, "You're clearly in your late sixties on your resume, why you only look like you're in your thirties is simply inexplicable." Charles had a very decent smile and spoke in an elegant public school standard voice with an extraordinarily gentle tone, "Mr. Stark, I'm afraid you're very tired at the moment, which is why you're slightly short-tempered. It is fortunate that I sensed your location in time, otherwise you would have had to continue walking through the vast desert for several more hours." Before his words left his mouth, everyone in the cabin stared disapprovingly at Tony-- This billionaire was so rude, Professor X himself had come to his rescue, and he had spoken out of turn. Tony Stark: Charles Xavier the conniving green tea white lotus spirit! As if thinking of something, Charles handed a document to the richest man in the United States, who he had just framed, his voice was much more serious, "Mr. Stark, before arriving in Los Angeles, I think you should be aware of this matter." Tony obviously couldn't be upset because of the few jokes he had just made. He quickly picked it up and proceeded to unfold it, and the contents of the document caused his face to change - Up to a dozen pages long, all of them were evidence that Obadiah Stang, the top executive officer of Stark Industries, had secretly traded with terrorist leaders and sold weapons. Tony finally realized why those terrorists had advanced weapons made by Stark Industries in their hands. Even Tony's kidnapping in Kuwait was the handiwork of Obadiah Stang. He was making waves and pulling out all the tricks in Stark Industries during Tony's kidnapping. This bad guy, who has coveted the rich Stark life for a long time, goes to great lengths to try and replace Tony once and for all. This is the hidden inside story that the X-Men accidentally discover while searching for Tony Stark. Tony frowned tightly, "This kidnapping experience has changed my mind about saving the world by making arms, and I'm ready to cancel the arms manufacturing division of Stark Industries." He was already prepared to announce this matter in a press conference after getting off the plane, so there was naturally no need to hide it from the crowd at this time. Especially that white lotus spirit that could read minds, it was really annoying, and this telepathy thing was not scientific at all. Colonel Roddy was the first to speak up, "God, are you crazy? Is it PTSD?" Stark Industries is the number one arms supplier to the U.S. Army. Canceling the weapons division? Was he going to switch to selling cotton candy? Margaret reminded him, "Shouldn't we put that Stark Industries top executive in jail before canceling the weapons division?" Selling weapons to a foreign-related terrorist organization would result in a sentence of several hundred years in the U.S. military, if not the electric chair. While the Blackbird was still in flight, Colonel Roddy had already walked to the cockpit to contact the tower, and a few minutes later, the armed team of the U.S. military in charge of arresting Obadiah Stang boarded a military Humvee. In order to minimize the impact, the arrest was kept secret, and the military was afraid that the charges against Obadiah Stang would not be disclosed to the public, but it was clear that his end would not be any better. The piece of evidence that Professor X had just served up was enough to convict Obadiah Stang of treason. "Geez, I'm afraid Stark Industries is about to go haywire." Colonel Roddy looked at his friend sympathetically. Tony rolled his eyes, "Do you think the professionals I pay good money to hire are hired for fun? If these things can't be fixed, I'll simply tell them all to go home." Stark Industries, as one of the top industrial companies in the United States of America, it would be a travesty if they had to rely on a few people to keep things running. When the Blackbird fighter jet arrived at LAX, Tony didn't make it to the press conference as he had hoped, announcing the elimination of the weapons division. And, of course, didn't get to eat a cheeseburger. Instead, they were hospitalized by Margaret and Colonel Roddy. Pepper, sitting in the front row, and Hogan, the driver, looked at each other, the capricious Mr. Stark looked like he was really cooperating today, was it because of the Hollywood actress? Or did he drop his brain in Iraq? Seriously, it's probably easier to take care of a vegetable than the normally flamboyant, tawdry and egotistical CEO of Stark Industries. Tony Stark could literally be one of the most annoying creatures on the planet if he wanted to be. But he's, uh, looking well-behaved at the moment. Well-behaved? Tony Stark? He's had nothing to do with that word since he was six, I'm afraid. A short time later, the black bulletproof sedan arrived at the nationally renowned UCLA Medical Center. As a big shot with strong ties to the U.S. military, Tony Stark naturally wouldn't just be sent to the emergency room. But in fact, this hospital trip will not be too complicated, Tony Stark in addition to more carefully deal with the broken arm, the rest is also a full body checkup. Margaret guessed that the U.S. military also suspected that he'd broken his head in the fall, or why else had he been assigned a renowned neurosurgeon MD. It was important to know that neurosurgery was responsible for the study of the human nervous system, such as the brain, spinal cord, and peripheral nervous system, as well as its related appendages, such as damage, inflammation, tumors, and malformations of the skull, cerebrovascular meninges, and other structures. This Dr. Steven Strange, who is responsible for the condition of the CEO of Stark Industries, has been hailed by outsiders as God's gift to the surgical community for his superior medical skills. Strange is responsible for the fusion of severed spinal cords to stimulate regeneration of the central nervous system, which will undoubtedly save thousands of people in the future. He was tall and straight, his face was not considered typically handsome, his face was even a bit long, but the whole thing looked extraordinarily attractive. Especially those eyes, which showed gray, green, and blue effects as the light varied, were extremely charming. Dr. Strange wasn't exactly in a good mood at the moment, he was supposed to be doing experiments, but instead he was sent to take charge of a billionaire who only had a slight fracture in his arm. The nationally known Steven Strange is obviously not a regular doctor on call in the emergency room, and with his always arrogant nature, he was never meant to be a pleasant individual to deal with. Strange expressionless face for Tony Stark to re-fix the arm, good thing he is good at medicine, not because the mood is bad, then perfunctory treatment of this "patient". As for Tony Stark, he was talking to Margo like he wasn't the one who was hurt, "We need to talk. Are you ready to stay at my Malibu beach house tonight?" Margaret clasped her arms and looked to the tall attending physician, "Check his head, please." Tony looked at her disapprovingly, "There's nothing wrong with my head." "Well, if it makes you feel any better," the brunette tsked, a perfunctory look on her face, "you're not wrong in the head." Tony Stark: "You're cruel you're heartless you're irrational and I'm even a patient." Margaret raises an eyebrow, "Or what? I stand on the moon and pick stars for you?" "Yeah-" Tony's big eyes framed by a circle of long lashes looked like the sweetest caramel. Inexplicably, this man, who could not even be considered middle-aged, looked like the most innocent and adorable little boy. Margaret couldn't help but smile a little, a momentary flash of grace that was impossible to look away from. Her voice was soft and indulgent, "Wait until I figure out how to take it off." Stephen Strange gave her an unobtrusive look-- Did this pair of America's richest man and Hollywood actress duo get the script backwards?
