LIA A week after pep rally was my most expected day. Halloween! You see I'm very excited. I took Halloween very seriously. Not because of the candy. (Okay, also the candy.) Not because of the school party. But because every year, it was mine. For years, it was me and Maya. Matching costumes. Coordinated poses. We even had a three-year streak: 8th grade? Zombies with glitter. 9th grade? Joint costume as a broken vending machine and a soda can. 10th grade? Duo witches with LED capes. We never won “Best Duo,” but we won hearts. So this year?
