The guardian and his last chance. Realization

XXXVI

Dragol´s pov

 Right now my familyroom are filled with laughter and talks. But I myself, are just sitting in silence in my armchair, drinking of my drink. And I am just smiling from the events that happened after I used my high command on Lianna.

Earlier this day, after the usage of the high command.

We walked down the stairs. As we did, the first floor got silent. The silent made me tense up. Not so much it was visible. The girls has stopped working on the food. But are in full controll of the pots and pans. They smile to  Lianna. The boys have sat down around the coffetable, in the familyroom. Mirai introduced them all to Lianna. But I could feel how tense she got, by the seconds passing. This was maybe not such a great idea, after all. She is literally hiding behind my back.

"Girls," Mirai said smiling. But I could see her hurt feelings, in her eyes. "Shall we continue with the foods."

They all said yes. Clarice are both looking over the food and her babygirl. I look over my shoulder. I felt that Lianna had moved a bit. Becouse she has a iron grip on my soft sweater. A smile twitch its way to my lips. She is leaning to the side to get glimpses of the work in the kitchen. I realize that she is curious and want to help. But she is to scared and filled with fear. Then Mirai sees that she is looking at them, she wave. Telling Lianna to come. She just ducked behind me again. I hear that the guys has started to talk about their work. Trying to not give off a intimdating atmosphere. Good! I know she had given them just a small glanze. My smile grew. As I heard Mirai say to Hanna in a soft and low voice. "There is somenone behind, Dragol."

And Hanna reacted as many other kids around this holiday. "Is santa here?"

I heard that Lianna, tried to hold her laughs inside. But failed. All heads turned to her. It was just for a second. Mirai smile brightly. "Hanna, can you get the person that are behind Dragol?"

"Ok." Hanna chirp, happy. The girl walked to me. She gave me a big smile. Before she stood beside my leg. I look down, at the top of her head. Her small hand gripped Liannas dress, (One of my sweaters).She tugged at the hem softly. Lianna loosened her grip on my sweater, and turned to Hanna. As she is a mother herself, she crouched down. I took the opportunity given to me, to walk over to the guys. And sat down on my armchair. They have started to talk about sport and games. But my focus was on Lianna and the rest of the girls. Hanna talked with Lianna, smiling so brightly. The girl is a big bundle of sunshine. Really is. She surprised us all, even me, when she led Lianna in to the kitchen. All of the girls where talking, joking and telling stories as they cooked. Lianna was tense and the glanzes she gave me, was of fear. But she slowly relaxed. And her fear blew away. Things are never going smoothly for me. Just as I thought the situation are going for the better with Lianna, the kids that were outside stormed in. Their entrance was so unplanned for. It made Lianna run to me. And hid behind me. We all can hear and see, that Mirai are fast at scolding the kids.

And as she is doing that, I turn to Lianna. "Lianna, they are just kids." She rise slowly, looking over my shoulder. "They can´t hurt you." I hear her swallow. and I look at her eyes. There is no fear in them, just awkwardness. "Did they scare you?" She blush lightly and nod. "There is nothing to be scared of." I rise slowly. and walk to the kids. And I know that she is right behind me. "Kids." I said. My voice neutral. They look up at me. I can sense that they didn´t mean to scare us. "What do you have to say?"

They pout, but they saw the look their mothers are giving them. They squirm and say with their heads lowered. "Sorry, for scaring you."

Lianna rushed past me. After they had said their sorry. Chocking enough she kneeled down. And gave them a big hug. Her voice is steady when she said. "I forgive you." She smiled, her fear almost fully gone, for all. "I am just easily spooked." I could hear on her voice that she has turned to the better. "Mirai." Lianna said, without turning to the luna. "The boys are in need of a bath."

"Indeed they are." Mirai said with her arms crossed infront of her. "We planned for this."

I cleared my throat, making all look at me. I gave them all a smile. "I tap up the water." The mothers looked at me, with wide eyes. "Allright!" they said in unison. I walk of to the bath. Inside I start to pour up the Bath. For the kids, I drop down  small ball of bathingsoap. A soap I have made. As soon it hit the water, it started to foam up. Not like the foamsoap, that are sold today. As the foam are more sturdy, and will hold thru the whole bathtime for the kids. When I walked out, I saw that Lianna came from the stairs. Her oldest child, a boy I have not learned the name of, is holding on to the hem of her makeshift dress. The boy look at my friends and their families with big eyes. I can both see fear and curiosity. He is young, too young to get as frightened as his mother. In her arms she has her twindaughters. They too, I have not learned the names of. And I didn´t want to seem to forward for her, by asking for their names.

"Are these, your p..." Sa´hara starts to say. But she get interrupted by Mirai´s elbow. "Oooow, Mirai." She said rubing her side. "As I said, before my friend so harshly interrupted me." She said with fire in her eyes, directed at her luna. "Are these, your kids?"

I chuckle lowly, in my head. The girls don´t know that I know what they are. And I know that holding this secret from their mates, are killing my friends slowly. With a smile on her lips and a soft blush on the cheeks, nods Lianna. I can hear the females goo at her daughters. I clear my throat again. Making their bonding to halt to a stop. 4 pairs of eyes turn against me. "The bath." I say slow. "Are ready for the kids."

They all form a small o with their mouths. Clarice claps her hands. "Lianna, why don´t you help Mirai finish the buffet." Lianna tilts her head. "So will I and Sa´hara make the kids ready for the dinner." Lianna gave Clarice a scared look. As if she would take her kids away from her. Clarice saw it too. And she took the step between them. With a smile, she hugged Lianna warmly. I heard her whisper. "I will not take your kids away from you." Lianna hugged her back. In the corner of her eyes I saw unshed tears form. Can it be that she fears most, that someone will take her kids away, I thought as I sat down in my comfy armchair. "Ok." Clarice said softly as she backed. "We will just be in the bathroom." Lianna nods her head. Not wanting to speak. Clarice whisper, softly with warmth. "You will hear us, remember."

Lianna handed over her kids to Sa´hara and Clarice. Even if she seemed to trust the two females, she looked on as they walked to the bathroom with all of the kids in tow. Excpt for Hanna. Becouse she is helping her mother with the food. Mirai has started to cook again. It is Hannas young and happy voice that brake Liannas trance, "Are you coming?" Lianna shook her head, making her long hair to take flight. "Lianna we need your help." She said pouting, when Lianna didn´t make any sign to move from the spot. Lianna moved at last. I had a feeling that she likes to have some friends. And that they want her help.

"Dragol." Jacob said. I turned my head to him. My friends are looking at me with smiles on their faces. "She seems to be recovering. Real good." Jacob seemed so glad, for her sake.

I nod, smiling a crooked one. "I am glad, real glad." I throwed a glanse in to the kitchen. Liking that I see and hear. They have put on some music. "This was good for her and her kids." They seem to have so much fun.

"We agree." Jackson, Eric and Jacob said in unison. Happiness filling their deep voice. 

We sat in the familyroom, in the wonderful scented air, talking. My friends were worried for the borders. They have had many intruders of late. And we shall not forget the intrusion from a hostile pack. But on these topics, we didn´t talk on. Becouse we don´t want to relieve my secret. Not yet, at least. If Hanna accept me I will show myself. This I have sworn. By the heavenly scents, I know that the food are soon ready. And as soon the kids came running out of the bath, clean and warm, shouts Mirai that the food is ready. The kids were first to fill their plates with food. I was the last one to fill my plate. No hurry was I in. The couse? It is simple. I know that Mirai and the girls have cooked much food. They have done it so many times before. When we grilled, had that feast when I left the hospital. When I saw the food, My mouth started to water. Even how much I swallow my spit, it just refills. On the table infront of me are herring in different inlays, fried salted herring, salmon both smoked and cured, ham, sausages both cold and hot, meatballs, thick ribs. And so many more things. With hunger in my eyes, I filled my plate. I sat on one of the shortends of the table, across from Jacob. When I pick up my fork, all of the rest started to eat. They waited for me. That warmed my heart and soul.

Back to present time. 

Sa´hara came down the stairs. Directly was Jackson beside her. Lifting her up, in his arms. She giggles and kiss his lips as he walks like that to one of my furnitures. He puffed down on one armchair, with her in his lap. When my glass is empty, I put it on the table beside me. I lean even more backwards against the armchairs back. My stomach are so full. We all ate atleast two plates filled with food. Even after that it was so much left over. But I can eat it tomorrow, together with Lianna and her family. Why Sa´hara came down the stairs? Did I forget to tell. She has put the kids in bed. They all got so sleepy after the dinner. 

"Lianna, do you have no other clothes?" Clarice asked curious.

Her question made Mirai and Sa´hara to turn their heads from the makeout session they had with their mates. Lianna looked down. "No." Her answer was fast and low. They all turned to me next. Their eyes telling me to speak.

"Alright, When I found Lianna and her kids." I said calmly. Holding my feelings in check from the memory. "I looked around, that place. I couldn´t find any bags or anything like that there." Lianna looked at the floor between her feets.

The mates of my friends smile and nod to each others. Mirai turn to Lianna. "We can come by tommorow, with some clothes for you." Lianna gasped in disbelief. "If it is Ok, for you Lianna?"

"Yes, yes." Lianna say fast. Wanting to have some real clothes, that fit her. Atleast better. "I and the kids would appreciate that." She got tears in her eyes again.
