On a almost clear sky, the sun shine bright and hot. There is no wind blowing thruout the forest. For that I am greatful. Becouse I had started a fire, on the gravel yard infront of the mainbuilding. The fire is for the wood that I will not save. To my guessing this small fire, will almost be like a bonfire at the end of the day. The fire spark and crack lively. I breath in the ashy smoke. A deep sigh escape me as I turn around, to the work I have to do. And it will be a handful deed. So I sigh again. I look at the tools that are laid near the porch. All of them I found here. They may be a bit rusty, but of solid steel. You would be chocked at how good somethings that are abandoned and forsaken, can be. So are these. In the tool department of the barn, I found these treasures. What those are? They are two sledgehammers, of different kinds and size, and four crowbars. Even those are of different sizes. They will serve their purpose well, in the days to come. Even weeks. Most likely. Once more I let out a sigh. "Alrighty then!" I say outlaud, as I bend my legs to pick up the bigger on of teh two sledges. Just as I had stood up, the sound of a car drive on the gravelroad comes to my ears. The weight in my hand is a one, I have great memory of. Becouse in old times, somewhere in the past, this type of sledge was one of a farmers best friends. It´s weight is perfect for it´s purpose. The purpose being to drive down the posts for pasturefences. In the corner of my eye, I see a black painted car stop just before the gravel yard. It is a kind, most people call truck. I don´t care. I turn around to face the car, as the driver´s door open, o my heel. Out step Jacob. He has a small smile on his lips. A smile form on mine too, in response. Then the passenger door and the one behind open up. Jackson and his brother Eric step out. The three of them walks to me. Jacob walking in the center, flanked by the brothers. Eric didn´t tell me he is like his brother, a beta. But I feel his aura now, clear as day. "Dragol, Mirai are a bit angry at you!" Jacob say a bit sternly. "She had hoped that you would have eaten breakfast with us." I shake their hands. "I will ask for her forgivness later." I said with a regretfull smile. "I didn´t want to wake you, as I left."  "This place really sought out someone like you." Jackson smirks. I give him a glare. He throwing up his hands. "I mean someone that are willing to work hard." I huff out. "Yea, work I will have." I give Jacob a stern gazing. "I have always liked a good and hard work." "Yea, I have noticed." Eric chuckle as he hit his brother in the back. "Dragol, I am glad for you." He give me a big toothy smile. "And for that you will stay near our town." These three will be problem one day. A great pain in my butt. They know that I am no human. I know that they are in great curiosity, to get to know what race I am. Still I have the feeling that they will not try to still their mind to day.  "I must ask." Said Jacob curiously. "s**t!" I thinks. He looks to the fire. "Why the fire? It is not cold out." I look at Jacob. He really did ask that. Laughter wanting to tear thru my throat. "It is to burn the bad wood." As I said that, all three gave me a baffled expression. Are they stupid? Or am I wrong? That way we have always done it. But as I thinks about it. The times has changed under the years past. Drastically, indeed it has. This seems to be the only true curse to be one of the longlived races, as I am. "Or am I wrong?" It is hard to break away from your old ways and thinkings. All three shrug. But it is Jacob that answer. "I have not thought so long." Once more I turn around to the house. "So fire it is!" I look at the work for the day, the porch. "We will tear down the porch today." I put the sledge over my shoulder. "Foremost, it´s roof." They pick up their tools. "So Wolfs. Be careful." I see that one of the beams has got lower. "The roof is unstable. If we can, we save so much wood as possible." "True." Jacob said with a bit alpha in his voice. "So shall we start?" I gave no answer. As my action spoke for me. As they already knows about me, maybe not all of me, I took three fast step and jumped. The roof creaked in protest laudly, when I landed. I gave the wolfs a smirk. It turned to a big happy grin, as I see their chocked expressions. "Come on then!" I taunt. "What are you, small wolfs waiting for!?" I taunt happily, as I look down at them from around five meters of the ground. My taunts earn me growls from those three wolfs. They use the two ladders I found hanging on the wall of the barn. As soon as they came up, I saw anger in their eyes. But mostly amusment. With smiles we started to work on the roof. The still and birdsong filled air, were thrown to the sid for the sound creaking and breaking wood, roftiles shattering on the ground. And the squels of steel being pulled out or thru wood. Soon enough we have a small pile of wood, that needs to be burned. And Eric was fast to volunter to work the fire. So we let him do that. I looked to the sky after have thrown down more wood to Eric. It maybe a hour after midday. "Guys!" I said. Knowing that they are as thirsty, hot and sweaty as me. "Shall we take a small break?" They agreed. So we returned down, to Eric. I looked at the sorry excuse of porche. We had worked hard. the roof almost done. A bit left. Then it is the posts and beams left. I say to the boys that I will fetch water. I walk to a small stream that flow though the property. In its clear and fresh water I put the only whole bucket I could find. And I quench my thirst directly out of the stream. With a content sigh, I turn and walk back to my friends. That is what they, the thought hit me in the face. As I turned around a corner of the stable, I heard Erci shout. "I am hot!" The wolfs stands with their backs to me. They have taken of their shirts. Exsposing the typical male wolf physic. Toned muscles. The way they are standing, almost beg me to do something. My steps are silent, as I get nearer. Slow and silently I put down the bucket. Filling my hands with the cold liquid. With a fast movement, I fling it. It leave my hands. The wolfs let out a chocked howl, as the water hit their bare back. "I brought the water!" I laugh. They turn around. The Eyes are almost pitchblack. I know they are mindlinking eachother. But I am still laughing softly,  when I give the bucket to Jacob. He and the guys drinks. Then suddenly I get a dreadful feeling in my guts. And my feelings are never wrong. I doesn´t react in time as Jacob shift his grip on the bucket. With one swift movement he throw it´s content at me. "Bloody f**k and hell!" I roar laudly. The guys are laughing almost double-folded. "For fuck´s sake. I am drenched in to the skin, Jacob!" My growl eco.  They got silent. Then Jackson said something that made us all to laugh. "Deja vu! Huh, Dragol." He is right. Deja vu. Bloody f*****g deja vu. The tought that these three wolfs are indeed my friends, hit me hard. And it make a happy smile creep upon my lips.
