Right now I am sitting in a big three sits sofa. The soft leather feels good at my fingers. One of the scents I smell is that of disinfection alcohol. The strong smell tickles my nose. And I can´t get away from it. Because it comes from my body. The mother of the child I saved bandaged my scrapes. And right now, she is sitting in an armchair across me. Her children are looking at cartoons on the flatscreen. She is humming to herself. After patching me up, she smiled at me as she took my torn clothes. Slowly I took a grip on the water jug, she had filled with clear water for me. As I was drinking, the sound of a door opening sounded. The children flew up, rushing to the door. They were screaming. “Daddy, daddy.” From the bottom of their lungs. And I couldn´t hinder the smile, to form. The woman smiled at me, but still did her job on patching my clothes up. I heard her husband come. And he stopped behind me. The scent and feeling that rushed out from him, made me to realize that he is this packs alpha. “Who is this man, love?” he asked. To my surprise without growling. His wife didn´t answer. Because she was not fast enough. It was the kids, the boys, that said in mouth on each other. “He saved Hanna, from a car.” I could hear them jump in excitement. “No one was as fast him.” One of the boys said. “He took her in his arms, jumped over the car.” The other one said. “Hero, he is, father.” I saw him go to his wife and lean down to kiss her soft lips. Under his clothes I sense powerful muscles. The brown hair was a mess. As is his beard. In his arms, is his daughter. “So, her name is Hanna. That´s a beautiful name for a beautiful gemstone.” My thought hit me like a car. I shook my head. “Jacob.” The woman giggled. “This man did indeed, save our precious daughter.” He sat down, Hanna on the other armchair. “Then I need to thank you, mister” his voice showed his gratitude. “So how long until dinner, love?” He really loves his mate. I´m glad for them. Really am.  She put down my clothes. Her smile was great, when she rose up. Around Jacob´s neck her tender arms wrap. Their lips crash together. In the corner of my eye, I saw the children do disgusted faces. “Children will always act as children. That will not change at all.” That thought made me chuckle lightly. That sound made the whole family look at me. The woman looked at her children, with a smile. If just one word she left for the kitchen together with the children. Jacob crashed to one of the armchairs. He looked at me. I could sense that he wanted to talk to me. Instead of doing it he picked up his paper. Soon enough the food was done. The smell turned my stomach crazy. I felt my hunger well. And this family did hear it as well. We ate in silence. At least we adults did. All of the food was great and tasty. They served a big roast with vegetables and potatoes. The sauce had a deep flavor of cream and browned butter. After the dinner, the woman that I now know as Mirai, got the children to bed. Leaving me and her husband alone. Without a word I tried to sneak away. But a word from Jacob, made me look at him. The word was “Sit.”  He didn´t just give command to me.
