The day has begone greatly. I had finished with putting up the last of birchwood wainscot on the walls of the first floor. I loved the long cuted wood. The light color and vivid texture of the wood is a great contrast to the dark grey granite, we glad the chimney in. Even if I am pleased how the interior of the first floor has gotten to, my mind wander. And that has happened since last week. Since then I have been easily distracted from both my human act and the work at hand. I have been extremely easy frustrated. Making many of the packmemebers that came to help of free will, growl low. I sigh at the memories of the past week. I have almost got in a fight with some of the wolfs. Not once or twice. To Jacob I am indebted more to. As he stopped the fights from starting. He got the wolfs on other thoughts. Laying the blame on a bad day. I let another sigh break my lips and huf deeply. "I need som air!" I said it outlaud. Like there where anyone here. But it is not. I leave the house and sits down on the porch steps. When the work on the repair and rebuilding are done, the house will be great. And once more liveable. It will get much love from me. I huf out air. I have done much work on the farm, even on my alone time. The garden plots are fully plowed now. In the great soil I found many big and fat worms. Telling me that the earth is healthy and fine. It will support all herbs, vegies I put in the ground. In autumn I will plant some seeds I have had with me a long time. It is a perennial herb with heart shaped leaves. The herb is for medicinal use. The people called romans used it to almost extinction. It is a great medicinal herb. Its use is contraceptive, a natural one. Not like all these pills and other things that are used today. I sigh as I shake my head. These things will just rob their users of their natural balance. Suddenly the feeling hits me in the gut. It came with strenght this time. On high alert I rose up. And gripped my axe, that where standing against the post. Something is coming, I can feel it now. The wind start to blow harder. It seems to whisper the old tale of war and battle. My grip harder. so hard that I know thar my knuckles are whitening. I saw and heard a car drive to the farm at high speed. As soon it skid to a stop on the gravel, infront of the porch, Jacob step out. He seems to be angry. I can see that his mouth is moving, as he is coming nearer. But I don´t hear his words. My senses are focused at the surroundings. Jacob shake my arm. And I look down at him. Our eyes lock. His are darkened. I snarl out. "What do you want?" He growls angry back at me, making my gaze to harden more. "My pack members will not come here anymore to help." He doesn´t take his eyes of mine, so angry seems he to be. "What´s been wrong with you this week!?" "I told you!" I growls, harsh. Jacob sighs. "Your so called bad feeling." He looks around. "Nothing has happened this week." The anger are deepened in his now pitch black eyes. His wolf are on the surface. "My members just wanted to get to know you more. AS you are my friend." He sighs out a hard growl. "So stuff up your so called bad feeling in your butt. It is nothing." "Nothing." I say still locking eye with him. He nods. And I lose it. "NOTHING, you say." My arm flew out. And my hand shut close around  the collor of his t-shirt. "This feeling is what have made me survive, since the death of my kin." I feel from him a small bit of regret. Just a tiny bit. "You don´t know me, my little friend. And my past!" I spat out the last words. I released my grip. And he stumbled a bit as I had lifted him up a few inches. Growling and irritated I walk past him. I need something to drink. Fast I walk to the cooler. To my happiness, there are a few bottles of beer left. Faster than anything I pick one, open it and slurps it down in seconds. As I feel that I am starting to get my senses back, I look at my friend over my shoulder. I can see that he is hurt by my words. Or more rightfully the choice of the words, I had said. But still I can feel anger come from him. "Tell me then!" It was so low, as awhisper can be. Most would have missed it, but I didn´t. I just ignored his words. He walked up to me. "Tell. Me. Then!" He said each word high and hard. "WHY?" I answered back to his demand. "WHY should I tell you?" I pook him in the chest, making him take a step back. "Can I trust you with my secrets?" One more pook. "I don´t know, my friend." Jacob flare up. He shouts angry, hurt. "Are we not friends." He pooks me in my chest. "Friends can trust each other." Trust is a hard word. So easy to give. And not so easy to forgive when it brake down. "I have given you a place to call home." His eyes flash with anger and hurt. "IF you are not my friend!" OHhh he will regret these words, gods forbid me. "GE" His sentance got abruptly halted, by a scream. A scream of a scared female. We both reacted, directly. Side by side we ran. Out of the farm to the fields that are just outside of the farm. We skid to a stop, when we se wolfs come out. One of them in human form are holding a woman by the neck. She remembers me of someone. He has a smirk on his face. "Boys, this will be easy." What the bloody f**k and hell are he talking about? "The Alpha are here!" The woman wiggles in his grip. "You have all the information, give him back to me." "What information, Elisabeth!" Jacob growls harshly. The man leans down, and drag his tongue over her cheek. Something are not right here, to me. Not at all. "Little alpha, on of your own has betrayed you." I feel the wind are about to shift. "For her little brat to son, she was so willing to give up all information of your pack, man lover." The wind shifted. "You and your pack are a disgrace to the proud wolf race." The scents where of blood and ash. The wolfs reek of it. "Boys, Have fun!" The scent where inprinted in my mind, I let out a earsplitting roar. They all looked at me, in chock. "Jacob, run!" He looked at me, not moving his body. "Jacob!" He is still not moving. The wolfs had started to move. I know what they are after. Blood and flesh. And some more. "They will slaughter your pack, Jacob." "What?" he said in disbelief. I pushed at him. "Run now!" I pushed again. "Gather your pack, to fight!" "I can´t leave you, Dragol!" He growled. I smacked him over the cheek with my hand. "Take care of tha pack." He was still hesitating. "I will be fine." The wolf where soon upon us. "RUN NOW!" I changed my grip on my axe. Knowing that this will be a hard battle. He nod, and turn around. "I hope we see each other again." He said as he shifted and ran to the town. The man that had talked before, laugh hard. "So the great alpha of the silver crest pack runs with his tale between his tail." Silver crest! It is a name I know. Once a pack with that name served under my kin. "Kill the human!" He is still laughing. "Then we will have fun with these man lovers." The wolves jumped at me. But one step and swing, and it was not me laying down dying. This pack, this warpack will not kill me today. The blood that are flowing out of his body reek. They all are looking at me in chock and disbelief. And I roar out. "All mother, I will pay the tribute to you this day. The price will be my foes blood and flesh." I rush forward. Behind me I hear Jacob call his pack to battle. His howl are soon answered by more howls. I smirk. The alpha of this warpack, screams the order to kill me. I have a feeling that these are not all of them. But I have to hold them here. My axe fly, cleaving flesh and bone. I punch and kick, break limbs. Easily I fight my way to their leader. But as I am nearing him, he kills the she-wolf. I let out another roar. As I fight, I see in the corner of my eye wolves run to the farm. My new home turns to a battlefield.
