A soft snore erupts from Lenore, and I look down at her sleeping on my lap. We are traveling to the Royal Pack. It’s been a week and a half since we discovered that Issac Devereaux and Darren Thatcher had infiltrated my hotel and tried to take me down. Lenore worked hard with Mina, Lana, and Helen to get the finances under control and the hotel back on track. I could not be more proud of my mate. After gathering more evidence, my cousin called us to the palace so we could confront Isaac and Darren.
Lenore stirs in her sleep and wrinkles my pants. I just stroke her arm, and she snuggles into me. I can’t help but smile.
“Wow, you have changed,” Mina speaks up. She and Mother are coming with us to the palace.
I look at my sister, who is sitting across from me. “What do you mean?”
