“I’m home, Mom!” I called as I stepped through the front door.
My mom appeared, smiling warmly. “Welcome back, Bloom. Lily’s in the shower, so why don’t you start your homework first? After that, take a shower yourself, and then you can join us for dinner.”
“Got it, Mom.” Acting playfully, I gave her a wink before heading toward my bedroom. As I dropped my bag on the floor, my thoughts drifted. I wonder what Tyler is doing right now. I miss him so much…

The next morning, the familiar sound of footsteps woke me from my sleep.
“Good morning, young master. It’s time for school,” my loyal butler announced with a bow.
I yawned, still exhausted from the day before. “Morning. Could you start on my breakfast?”
“Of course, young master. Right away.”
"Thank you."
Before long, my butler returned. “Sir, your father has requested your presence in the garden.”
Tyler stretched, ran a hand through his dark-colored mane, and walked outside. “Morning, Dad. Sorry to keep you waiting.”
I have a secret that no one knows about except the people in my home.
My father turned with a dignified smile. “Good morning, Prince Tyler."
That's right. I'm the first prince of this nation.
"How has it been trying this little game of yours, son?" Said my father, King Robert.
"It's not a game; I really want to know what a commoner's life is all about." I rebuked.
"Don’t forget—you’re not a commoner. You’re the first prince of this nation and its future king."
Our conversation grew heated until the butler carefully interrupted. “Excuse me, sir, but if you don’t leave soon, you’ll be late for school.”
“Fine.” I sighed, adjusting my jacket. “I’ll just eat breakfast in the car.”
Moments later, the butler opened the car door, revealing its glittering royal crest and luxurious leather seats.
“We’re at the same spot as yesterday,” the butler reminded as the car came to a stop.
“Great. I’ll walk the rest of the way.”
“Young Master, why not let me drive you directly to school?”
Tyler shook his head firmly. “Sorry, but if I show up in a luxury royal vehicle, my secret won’t stay hidden for long.” With that, he bolted from the car and ran the rest of the way to campus.

“Good morning, Tyler!” Bloom waved brightly as I arrived at the gates. “Let’s walk with Mia. She’s on her way.”
"Wait on me."
“Hi, Tyler,” Mia greeted with a cheerful smile. “Hope you’re doing fine. Good morning!”
The bell rang sharply, echoing across the courtyard.
“Come on,” Mia urged, tugging on Bloom’s hand. “Let’s hurry to class already!”
“Yeah, let’s go!” Bloom agreed.
“Sure thing, Mia.” I smiled faintly, jogging alongside them. Together, we dashed off toward the classroom, the morning sun blazing behind us.
