Chapter 16Sheppard and Haley parked outside the twenty floor high rise on W Ford City Drive. The building facade was beige colored beams and glass which must have looked impressive in the 1970s when it was constructed. Now it looked like any of a dozen cheap apartment buildings you could find scattered throughout the city. Sheppard opened the door for Haley and they stepped into the foyer. Much to their surprise, there were no doormen, nor were there any administration staff. The only thing that greeted them was a musty odor of mold that made Haley sneeze. They made their way over to the lone elevator at the far end of the foyer and pressed the button with an upward facing arrow on it.
