Chapter 39Arturo’s phone vibrated in his pocket. He didn’t think his boss would be contacting him so soon after his teleconference. He fished the phone out of his pocket and turned the screen on to find a text message from Sheppard. Six agents en route from Milwaukee, will arrive within two hours. Arturo deactivated the display, returned his phone to its usual place, and turned to his team.
“Listen up, everyone. I know this has been a difficult day to say the least. Unfortunately, it’s not over, but we do have half a dozen agents coming from Milwaukee to back us up, and they’ll be here within two hours.
