There were still several hours remaining on the electrolysis, and although Zoe now had a way of communicating securely, she didn’t know who she could call. The instructions she had been given were very clear. “Contact law enforcement or any federal agency and your son will suffer a fate worse than death.”
She had to be very careful about who she contacted. She couldn’t call any anonymous tip lines as they would send information out to everyone across the country which would no doubt tip off her attacker.
