Chapter 32Haley’s ambulance came to a sudden stop in front of the hospital. The rear doors flung open, and two men in scrubs started pulling on the gurney. The paramedic rushed beside the gurney holding the IV bag, and Sheppard followed behind. The legs of the gurney dropped down automatically at the edge of the ambulance, and the paramedic started giving the two men in scrubs a run-down of Haley’s condition.
