 gave up on going back to sleep after Xavier left. I was too tightly strung and had too much going on in my mind to relax and sleep. Instead, I took up my phone, which had been on Do Not Dusturb while I was sleeping, and I cringed after seeing a bunch of missed calls from Amelia with a series of messages that warned me that Xavier was coming, apologizing for telling him, and making it clear that she hated him for putting her in that position. I decided to call her back, not wanting to worry her anymore. "Livy?" "Hi Mi Mi. I just wanted to let you know that I'm not mad at you. If anything, it's Xavier's fault for threatening you like that, and I don't blame you for protecting Jacques. But trust me, I would've never let him do that to you or Jacques." I said, and she blew out a breath.
