Kelly's P.O.V.

As we left Jasmine and Xavier with the Drake family. I asked Simon to let me see my brothers as I knew they were worried. He didn't like it but he agreed to take me to the house. As I walked up the front porch to the door Simon knocked and I waited for them to answer the door. It felt like forever but it was only a few seconds. Mark opened the door and before I could say hello I was scooped up into a big bear hug by my brother. "Where have you been we were looking everywhere for you?"he said worriedly. I think he just realized that Simon was standing next to me as he looked over and saw him and his eyes dropped to the floor and shame. "she has been where she's safe unlike here where she was unsafe for so long." said Simon. "I'm sorry you guys were worried Mark but I'm better now and I've accepted the rejection. and Simon you promised to be nice." I scolded Simon. Mark motioned for us to come in the door and we went into the sitting room. there were James and Steven and his mate Tiffany. I really wasn't looking forward to dealing with Tiffany at this time but hopefully she was going to be nicer since Steven was there. and like anything else I hope for I was disappointed when she opened her mouth full of hate. "you have no right to enter this house you Omega."said Tiffany. and like a good brother Steven jumped up grab Tiffany by her arm walked her past me and to the door and before he closed the door in her face he said "you will either respect our sister or I will reject you this is your last warning she is a beta you are only Delta born and I accepted you as my mate. if you do not respect my family members you have no business entering my house."he said in a rage "I'm your mate she is the reason your parents are dead and you're just letting her get away with it. she is beneath everybody in this pack she has no strength and she was not even able to defend herself against being bullied. beta-born don't make me laugh she's nothing but a pathetic Omega even less than an Omega. and when you're ready to apologize to me and kick her out then I will be ready to accept you as my mate." Tiffany gave her ultimatum to my brother before she turned and left. when Steven came back into the room he was very upset "I'm so sorry Steven I keep causing problems in your mate relationship." I said truly sorry for ruining his mate and his relationship. "you have nothing to be sorry for the alpha gave the order that you were to be treated as your normal status as if it was never taken away from you. and since she wants to be childish she can explain her actions to the alpha herself." Steven explained. My heart swelled at knowing my brothers are back to the way they were before our parents died. As this thought comes to mind I take a chance to ask something I have wanted to know for years. " I was wondering if I could see where our parents were laid to rest if it's alright?" they all get up and hug me. "we'll take you there right now since you never got to attend the funeral. Nothing can ever make up for the things we have taken from you but we will try to make your future better." says James.

As we get ready to leave there's a knock on the door Mark opened the door and there stood Rachel. "Can I talk to Kelly privately?" she asked. Before anyone could answer for me. "Yes. Let's talk in my old room." I told her. And we walked up to my room and when I closed the door; Rebecca threw herself on the floor at my feet "Sorry I am so sorry for everything I did to you." she says while crying I can tell she is really upset by behavior. "Come here " I tell her as I pick her up off the floor and place her on the bed. "Now let's discuss what's bothering you?" I said and she looks like I'm insane. "How can you say that after everything I have done to you? I was horrible I can't even live with myself. And this whole time I thought you were shutting me out and it was because of an order my parents gave you so you couldn't talk to me." she said between the tears.

"Yes but you were only acting out in anger. And that's when people make bad decisions they let the anger take hold and it controls them. That's why I will always forgive those that let anger in their hearts hopefully the anger will become less and then they can heal." I told her. I really want the cycle of anger and hatred to stop I know it's naive of me to think so but I have to try. "You are a better person than I am. I wouldn't be able to forgive someone if they treated me like I treated you." Rebecca says and then she hugged me just like when we were friends. "Want to come with me and visit my parents grave?" I asked she nods in response and we head downstairs to leave.

Austin's P.O.V.

I can't believe my father has named my younger brother the next Alpha. How can he do this it's not fair just because I wanted a better Luna. I look up and it's only me and my Dad in the office. "How could you do this to me? I'm your first born the Alpha position is mine by birth right." I shout. "Son I know you are having a hard time with this but you are going to have to accept that you are no longer the next Alpha. If you had listened when I warned you this wouldn't have happened had you listened to me. And your rejection pain wouldn't have been as bad as it was had you not betrayed your mate with another." He stated. "I rejected her; she wasn't my mate anymore." I defend myself. "No Austin she didn't accept it right away. That meant she felt pain when you slept with whatever girl you slept with." He explained. Well now I know why I was in so much pain but I can still fix this by taking back my rejection. " Austin I already know what you are thinking and it won't work the minute she accept your rejection the bond was broken and she is no longer yours. I'm sorry it came to this but I hope you can move on and heal." he says before getting up and leaving. I will be Alpha make no mistake. I head towards my room and when I close the door behind me I start to trash everything I get my hands on. they think I'm beaten but there wrong I will make them all pay. And I will be starting with my mate when I place my mark on her wether she wants it or not she doesn't have a choice. As I leave my room I run straight into my Mom "I hope you have gotten off your high horse and see you are no better than anyone in this pack. I thought your father and I had taught you that your mate is everything. I hope you can still find happiness with someone." my mom says in a disappointed tone. "Don't worry Mom I will fix everything so that it goes back to before I was removed as heir to the pack." I tell her as I figure out how to put my plan into action. "I will not help you hurt her my mate has been through enough because of you." Marcus says. "So you are going to let her go when she is all you have been whining about." I snap. "She is no longer ours and I want her to be happy for once. So I will not let you mark her." and with that he goes silent. But I will be Alpha and she will bare my mark and I will make her pay for the embarrassment I suffered today.
