The soft music from the reception filled the air, blending with the clinking of glasses and the discreet laughter of the guests. Everything was perfect, of course. A meticulously crafted stage for Morgana, the Luna of the pack's dreams. Even I had to admit it—there wasn’t a single detail out of place. But the luxury and perfection couldn’t mask the venom floating in the air. I stayed in a corner, far enough to avoid the spotlight, but not so far that it would seem like I was hiding.
