“Good. The White Lily Pack is almost six hours away from here…I’m not sure if you'd be able to mindlink me if something were to happen.”
“No, we wouldn’t be able to reach you via mindlink.”
Alex frowns, “Well,” he chimes in, “you would be able to reach Peter if you made him your Beta before the summit.”
“Wait, what?!” Marie shrieks in happiness and shock. “Your Beta?” She glances at me then at Peter. “Oh, honey, why didn’t you tell me? This is so exciting.”
Peter grimaces, “I was going to tell you, Ma, I just…” His cheeks turn a light shade of pink, and I hold back my laughter.
I clear my throat, “Speaking of you becoming my Beta, I would like your Beta ceremony to be sooner rather than later.”
“Whenever you feel is right, we can have it.”
“I’m not really sure what I would need…”
