I’m running in the forest; I can see clearly even though it’s dark out. I am not running away in fear but in…anticipation? I continue to run, through bushes and brambles not caring about the thorns that brush up against me, it's not like I feel any of it anyway. Instead of feeling out of breath or tired, I feel energized being outdoors. I stop in my tracks and lift my head up and hear a howl; it’s close, so close I can’t help but think it might’ve come from my own mouth. I pick up running again until I come across a stream and immediately become thirsty. Not thinking about what I am doing, I make my way to the stream and lean over to have a drink but stop.
