As soon as I step outside, I am met with fresh air; smelling the trees brings a smile to my face. Gosh I’ve missed this… I hear Jasper clear his throat.
“You ready to go?”
I nod my head and follow him to the path Alpha Patrick told us about. I never actually realized how high up Jasper drove last night. We find ourselves on a path leading downwards to the lake, but not too steep of a hill or else I would really be rethinking wearing my flats. It seemed like we have been walking for a good ten minutes or so until the lake and cabins come into view, and I have to stop. From here, I can see the lake and cabins but what made me stop is the breathtaking view of not only the lake but the trees and above the treeline the snow-covered mountains.
