Just as I close the door behind me, Jasper walks out of the bathroom, rolling up his sleeves to his white dress shirt to his elbow. He looks at me and a smile so wide takes over his face.
“Nat…” He says, and in two steps, he is in front of me, cupping my face in his hands and kissing me as if it’s the first time.
At first, I’m frozen, but slowly succumb to my mate finally kissing me, enjoying the joyful sparks as he caresses my skin with his hands. I kiss him back, just as eagerly, winding my hands behind his neck, feeding my fingers through his hair.
He pulls back, both of us panting and needing air, and he places his forehead against mine.
“What was that for?” I ask breathlessly.
“Do I need a reason?”
“No…I guess you don’t.”
He nuzzles my neck and softly kisses my mark and I bite
