Isaac looks at me confused. “How so?”
“Well, Ivy and Darrin will think you should be punished for attacking Marie. Don’t worry,” I say as I see his face pale, “I already told you, you’re not being put in the cells. I think for the rest of the week, you will have to take a break from helping Marie in the kitchen.”
Both Marie and Isaac look disappointed by this.
“It won’t be forever, “I say, reassuring both of them, “I promise. Until I can find a suitable pack member to watch you, I think it would be best if you stay with me for the remainder of the week. They’ll think it will be a punishment…I’ll have you help me around the pack…Think of it as community service.”
Isaac nods his head, “Okay.”
Marie smiles, “Don’t worry honey, Luna Natalya will take care of you. She knows best.”
