As I walk to the entrance of the clinic, I cannot help but ponder about this new information. Why would Ivy have sage in her system, among other herbs? Only one thing comes to mind: witchcraft.
‘We can’t forget about the rogue leader having a seer at his side. Perhaps the sage was from her?’
‘I don’t know, Pearl, but I’m determined to find out.’
As I walk out of the clinic, I find Alex eagerly waiting for me.
“So, what now?” he asks.
“I could go for a run actually,” I say as I stretch my arms up to the now clear blue sky. Pearl growls appreciatively at the idea of a run.
