Jasper leads us to the kitchen hall and there are still some pack members seated finishing their lunch. I glance over to my side at Patrick and, as if sensing my determination, he clears his throat. Jasper stops, and I give him a look and he nods, understanding.
“I’ll go grab us something to eat and grab a table.”

“Of course.” He drops my hand, but not before lifting our locked hands and kissing my hand.
