I step inside, with Peter close behind me and can immediately hear a feminine voice yelling in hysterics. I see a nurse standing outside a door, leading into a room. She seems very uncomfortable and nervous. When she sees me coming towards her, she immediately looks relieved. She walks towards me and Peter.
“Thank the Goddess you’re here, Alpha. I was only following the doctor’s orders, but the she-wolf wasn’t having it.” She said in a rush.
I give her a look to reassure her she did nothing wrong. “Tell me exactly what happened.”
