Chapter 3 (TRAINING STARTS NOW.)

1605 Words
Molly Taylor POV "What did Mr.A say? He said he won't allow you to play?" She said, teasing me. We're on our way to the cafeteria. It's our break after the four subjects have passed. I adjusted my gray jacket, "he said he couldn't afford to lose me to the team." She looks at me. "Wow, the hardness of the face." I just smirked. Stella nudges me. "What did he say!?"  I pointed to the mango shake. "Can I have this?" The lady smiled. "Sure. What size?" Um, medium." "I will be in charge of our training because he said he would leave and would be gone for a few weeks." I got back to Telly. Her family always called her Telly, so I started calling her like that. Stella's nickname looks like a cute little dog in my imagination. It's like the name of a cute dog. Do you get what I've said? Right? "Maybe your teammate was sad when they found out that you were going to train them again. Hays, what a pity they are." I can see her face imagining my teammates' reaction. The woman handed me the mango shake. I left Stella to buy more snacks. I'm done buying foods that I want to eat, I'm just waiting for Stella, she's buying bread. I leaned my back in the corner. A guy approaches her. Why the hell Stella does not have an endless talk. I'm the one who's getting tired. It seemed like a long talk so I headed first to the table. Peacefully, eating. "You're annoying, why did you leave me!" She slapped my back and sat in front of me. "Oh, I thought you guys were having a sweet talk, I don't want to interrupt." I tease. I take a big bite on my shawarma.   "Don't you wish! You might cry when I actually get one." Oh, she snaps that. It suddenly gives me a puzzle. Hmm... When Stella has a boyfriend, she will lose time being with me. She'll be busy because they will have a date and he will do the things I do for Stella, such as watching over her when she is sick. Oh no, I hate that idea. I will be truly sad when someone starts doing things I'd do for her. It's a no. But when she actually got one, I will be happy for her, she deserved love. "You should get one," I said like it's just nothing for me. "You are not hard to love, by the way." She seemed pleased by what I said. It is true though. I tied my hair up because it is already going into my food.  "I'm joking. Why so serious." She extended her snout and made her eyes bigger. "I don't even get to think about it. I'm too busy supporting you."  My heart wants to cry. Who am I to deserve a friend like her? I'm just Molly Taylor. What makes me special? Nothing. But what did I do to deserve her? Nothing. She is just an angel sent from above. I take a sip from my mango shake. "What's with those excuses? Are you dumb? Just date already so someone can take you when you're being annoying."  "Oh, look who's talking? You are the one who should have boyfriends. So someone can grab you out when you're being annoying."  I heard Lucy, stuttering my last name. "Ta-Ta-Tay-Lor!!" She's doing it on purpose. Pebble is with her, winking at me. They sit with us. "Hi, Stella! Nice to see you, you are still as beautiful as the last time I saw you." Pebble gives Stella a kiss on the cheek, but it's a problem, 'coz she's wearing red lipstick.  "Thank you! You too. Nice to see you, Lucy." Stella greeted as she awkwardly wiped her cheek.  "Oh, I'm sorry." Pebble laughs.  "Nice to see you, pretty face." Lucy retorted.  I'm just eating and Lucy steals a bite on my other shawarma. "Nice to see you, Captain." I looked at her. They are tripping as usual. They are spoiled brat kids, with good hearts. Oh, I forgot, they are flirty too. She's acting on kissing my lips since I am looking at her.  "Cut it out, won't you?" I placed my palm on my chin. I'm sleepy.  "You're always sleepy. What are you?!" She asked.  "A mean girl." Stella throws in. They all laugh. I don't know what's so funny about it. I just want to sleep.    After class, I immediately went to the court of our school. No one is here yet and the door is still locked so I immediately went to the office to get the key. "I can't give you the key Ms. Taylor. Mr.A's order is clear. " The old lady who has a bad temper, the old lady I didn't like, answered. "Coach's order is also clear, and that is to train my teammates." "It's obvious to everyone that you did something wrong so you weren't allowed to practice, isn't it Ms. Taylor?" She says, trying to punch me in the face with her words. "Mr.A allowed me, and also said that I will lead the training for a few weeks. Is that clear to you too? " I retorted, calmly. "It is also clear that it is a policy here at school that students can be rejected and told, especially when they talk rudely. Is that also clear to you, Ms. Taylor??"   This old lady with wrinkles always challenges my patience. She's the kind of opponent that is hard to compete with. I can't stand her. Since our conversation has no destination, I just left and waited for the others on my team to come and talk to that old woman. She puts me in a bad mood. I want to hold a ball so bad. I skipped our training for two weeks but she still doesn't want to lend me the key. How cruel she is. I just leaned against the court door and crossed my arms over my chest, bent over. I'm getting bored.  "Taylor!!" One of my teammates called me. "My suspicion is correct, I know you will come here first." She smiled. I looked at her. She sees the door is still locked. "Haven't you been given the key?" She asked. Still, I'm just staring at her in, bad mood. "Can you take it?"   She giggles. "Of course" She passed in front of me to go to the office, it's just on the side of the court but you will also walk for the equivalent of a minute and a half. She also returned immediately and handed me the key. I opened the door so we could hook up the net and get started. It will be easy today since it's the first day of my come back. "Start stretching," I ordered her. I'm still in my blue coat uniform and gray skirt, I'm not into skirt type of person but it's required to wear in school so I bought a skirt above the knee, most of the student's skirts were too short but it looks good and not too revealing, I just can't move properly when wearing a skirt. I changed in the bathroom with our team jogging pants and a big violet shirt. It feels nice, fresh. I saw others arrive, "Welcome back, Captain!" I don't know, they like calling me like that, It's Pebble and Lucy who started it. Girls were full of fun. I tilt my neck to the right while holding my forehead. Counting one to eight.  "Where's Stella?" Pebble asked, looking around. Well, Stella is always around. All of my teammates knew her because she's always with me. She's also here when we are doing our training, she's kind to my teammates and gives them bottled water after the training. Everyone here likes her. There's no wonder at all why everybody likes her. She's born to be kind to everyone, but do not belittle Stella, she's not the type of person you can bully or what. Her kindness has a limit, and that's how it should be. You can't always be kind, people are abusive. "I don't know, just continue what you're doing, a bit of a minute you were going to see her sitting there." I let my head point out the bleacher. I stretch my neck to the left.  "Okay. It just feels incomplete when she's not here." She stretches her legs. That's kinda true.   I gave them a five-set each plank, squats, sit-ups, and lunges, etc. Like I've said, I will be kind today. Stella is on the bleachers, cheering them on. I held my shirt and picked it forward to let the wind go through my body. I rested for a minute and drank my energy drink. "Are you not getting bored?" I ask Stella before sipping again.  She's smiling. Not to me, to Lucy and Pebble. "No. Lucy and Pebble were always funny. I like to watch them." I take a look at them, Lucy kicking Pebble's ass. Stella laughed so hard and looked at me. "They're so funny right?"  I laugh a little. "It's because they are crazy."  Lucy and Pebble look at us. "Were you guys talking about us?"  I act surprised like they caught us, and shake my head.  Stella looks at me, "Omg, they heard us?" acting like we're talking about them.  "Talking to someone's back is bad, Captain" Pebble smacks my head. Lucy did too to Stella. They happily laughed, after that I gave them another set of planks and squats, smacking your captain huh?
