Chapter 15“We could spend the night there,” Petyr said, pointing to the roofs far ahead of them belonging to the buildings of the town where they’d spent their first night after leaving the mountains, several days previously.
“It would not be safe,” Symounde told him. “Believe me, Sorcerer Huguenin will have already alerted the town’s guards to keep a look-out for you as he ordered you to leave Virlandia with all due haste.”
“Well, damn,” Petyr muttered. “It would have been nice to spend one more night in a real bed, not in some cave or under the stars.”
Niall patted his shoulder. “You will survive, I promise.”
“So says you. I’m not so sure.”
