Chapter 7

Bella

After that mind blowing kiss Lucian told me we will go for dinner tonight, luckily I had packed a few nice clothes in anticipation of meeting my mate. I chose a simple olive green skater skirt dress and got ready.

Lucian was right on time. He walked into our room at 7 pm.

"Hi Bella , you look gorgeous. Ready to go?"

"Yes! Where are we going though?"

"It's a surprise"

We drove for a while before stopping near a lake. It was set up like a picnic and the view was incredible!

"Lucian did you do all this? "

"Yup, I figured we could use a private setting to get to know each other a Little better?"

I smiled and we sat down to eat. The food was amazing with fried chicken and Mac and cheese, it was the perfect picnic food!

"Lucian, tell me about yourself?"

"Well Bella , I took over the pack when I was 18 years old. My parents were killed by rogues.. I have a younger sister, she has gone to visit some distant relatives and will be here next week. I think you two would get along! You have already met my Beta Jack and my Gamma is Alex. I will introduce you to all the ranked members of my pack tomorrow. I am a big movei buff, my favourite food is Mac and cheese and I love the color red. Your turn now little mate"

I listen intently as Lucian spoke. I hadn't realise his parents passed away so young..

"Well uhh you met my elder brother Noah yesterday. My mom and dad still live at the pack and my dad still holds his gamma position. The Alpha has no sons and no one to take over the pack.. So we have been in discussion with the council for a few years now as to how to handle the situation. I love training and occasionally reading novels. My favourite food is Pizza and I like the color black."

"Well good to know little mate. Your previous packs situation seems stressful I hope you figure it out."

"Lucian, I don't have any way of contacting my family.. I left my phone at the ball, any chance you could get it back? They must be worried."

"Sure babe, I will make sure to it."

Our date went really nice, he was super attentive and we talked and laughed for hours. He softly kissed me on my lips and we went back to our house. This was a tiring day and I was too sleepy to think about anything other than just crash as soon as I hit the bed.
