Brents PoV I dropped her off in front of her apartment door. "Thank you again... It was a wonderful... specially the lobsters..." she giggled. "You want to come in for a coffee?" How could she seem so innocent, I should better refuse on that or else I may not control myself anymore. "I'll better not let Charles wait to long, he has family." she was standing there, nodding. "I'll see you tomorrow than?" "Yeah...ehm...." she came closer and gave me kiss on my cheek. "Goodnight than" she was smiling. Damn... "Goodnight..." I turned around and headed in to the elevator. Entering the car Charles said, "she’s a nice lady Mr. O’Neil" while starting the car, driving me to my penthouse. I looked out the window. "I can see that she is a keeper" he continued. "A keeper?" I whispered shaking my head. I need to get her out of my mind... immediately "Charles, bring me to the club..." he turned the car around, heading to the club. I arrived at the backdoor of the nightclub and got out of the car. The bouncer opened the door and nodded. The club was full, I headed to VIP-Lounge and found my brother Leonard with two girls having fun. "Hi..." I said, letting me fall on the leather couch. The waiter brought me my whisky as usual. My brother finally noticed me and got closer. "Excuse me ladies... hey bro, what’s up?" he zipped on his drink. "Nothing... just work..." not wanting to talk about it. He narrowed his eyebrows. "You look like s**t man... I can share if you want, just tell which one you like..." pointing with his head to the girls sitting on the other side of our table waving kisses at him. "Ha! Yeah right…” I shook my head. “Do I look so bad, needing to help from my brother, to hook up with girls now?" giving it an offending sound. He laughed. "Well, then don't give me that look as if you were in trouble bro" He stood up and went back making up with the ladies. He would never change. My brother, Leonard O'Neil was one of the most talked about in the gossip magazines for being a ruthless playboy. Good for me, not being the most talked about since I took over our grandfathers Company. He was still young when mom died, just graduating high school that time. While we celebrated at the club, I received a call from granddad that mom wants to see us right away. I knew what already what was going on. I was staring on the dance floor observing the people. She was still in my head, not wanting to leave my mind. Suddenly a woman appeared in front of me, blocking my view. I looked up. Oh no... "Hi Nathalie, you are blocking my view" moving my eyes back to the dance floor, not giving her any attention. "You are really such an asshole Brent!" she shouted so loud, that my brother raised his head, while he was making around. "What do you want?" giving her an evil look. "I want an apology for what you've done the last time Brent!" smirking at me. She really pissed me off. "What?” I started to laugh. “Get out of my way now... I don't have time for this..." signalizing her with my hand to move. "Don't you dare..." she was about to say more before Leonard interrupted her. "So, who is that beautiful lady over hear..." scanning her from head to tow, trying to cool her down. She gave him a flirtatious glance. "She is the b***h f****d a view days ago... you can have her if you want, she is all yours..." zipping on my whiskey. "You f*****g s** of a b****!!!" she shouted and hit me with her purse on my shoulder. My glass fell to the floor and shattered into pieces. "Wow, slow down..." My brother holds her back, so she would not do more on me. "That's what you get for playing around with me! And be sure that were not done yet! You asshole!" she turned around and left. "What’s wrong with that b***h?” he followed her with his eyes, “I think you satisfied her really hard..."making sure that she was not coming back. "Everything alright?" now looking down at me. "That b***h just wasted my drink..." "Wait, I'll get you another one..." he raised his hand for the waiter to come. "No, its okay... I need to be early tomorrow..." I stood up wanting to go home. "Okay bro, I'll see you around... maybe I'm going to visit you soon, I had a talk with granddad… wasn’t so good…" I nodded. I left the club, entering the car and Charles drove me home. Arriving at my penthouse I was so naked and headed to the bedroom right away. What a day… The lights of New York were so bright, letting me recall my day with Jessica. I need to stop being crazy about her. But how? Every time she is near me, I feel different, save. The last time I felt this way, was with my mom when she was still alive and healthy. She was really making stupid things. What was that for in the restaurant? How can I ever show my face there, after letting a woman pay for bill? And the worst thing is, she didn't even know. Suddenly my phone vibrated it was a message from Leonard. "Hey bro, check this out..." I pressed the first link he sends me and read the headline "Who is that mystery girl?" ...next "B. O'Neil planning to settle down or just having a good time...?" "The next victim of the O'Neil brothers...." There were many more headlines of several gossip magazines, with pictures of Jessica and me. Good that they didn’t got her face... Damn… I drove my hand through my hair. Why the paparazzi can't just leave me ...us... alone. I let my body fall on my bed felling me sink in to comfort. Recalling what she said in the car "I've never been on a date... I mean.....out for dinner with a guy...". How come she had never been on a date? She was a natural beauty, intelligent and down to earth. Other man would take her with pleasure... Just the imagination that some random guy would please her, drove me crazy. I controlled my anger not to smash anything, that could slip in to my hand. Remembering granddads words not to hurt her, she’s different... He was right, she is different. Please don't forget to vote guys! Thank you so much for reading!!
