It’s night like this that makes what Janice did hurtful I thought she and I would’ve been married with kids by now it was one of the things that I was looking forward to you know because I knew that taking over from my father would be a hassle and requires me to be in the office for long hours knowing that my family would be there for when I come home would’ve make everything worth it but opening my apartment door knowing what’s waiting for me on the other side are my cold and lonely furniture brings a weird feeling to my chest making me think damn did I really give my heart to a selfish woman and I didn’t know about it until it was too late, with a sigh I make my feet move inside the apartment looking at my quiet accomplishment I can’t really say I’m enjoying it.
