The gates of the inner ward slammed down behind Raffé and the men who had ridden with him, the guards blowing the horn to signal that all were accounted for and the gates were closed for the night. Raffé dismounted and handed his horse off to the Tamer who came running up. "Excellent work," Raffé murmured to the Wolves of the Moon as they came up to him, grinning in their toothy way, still thrumming with the energy of a successful mission. "Go wreak some minor havoc, just not too much of it."
