Katy and I were visiting our old friends Greg and Anna. They were in town for the night while on the way to a conference in Philadelphia. They'd stopped overnight at a local motel with the intention of meeting us for dinner before they were on the way the next morning. Greg and I had worked together years before and we had become close to him and Anna. We both moved on to new jobs and lived almost a thousand miles apart. We kept in touch but hadn't seen each other in over five years. When Anna called Katy and said they were going to stop on their way to Philly and see us, we were delighted.
