However she heard a panicking voice, "Aye, why are their demon wolves in the middle of the road!"

"Men try to lead them away, but don't harm or kill them, else will face the consequences of our actions."
The demons gave a complaining mumble but they were only lowly ones who bend to the higher ones, thus they could only do their best to carry out the task.
Meanwhile, at the Mai manor, the Madam and Hei Xie were discussing serious matters.
"My son," she paused, "After years of disappearing he returned, but he was different. The things he liked were what he dislikes now, his manners and mostly his attitude has gone astray from how he originally acts. Your highness, you were with him during the war with the devil, before he disappeared, what really did happen?"
Hei Xie calmly gaze at the old Madame, "Your son..."

"I understand, t-thank you for telling me, I-I-" shock was evident on her face.
"Madame Mai, it is your son's marriage, this Prince hopes you'll hand this to the lovely couple," Hei Xie pulled out two red jades, it was clearly crafted for couples, the bangle had an auspicious designs.
Upon placing the box, he stood and left, leaving the shaken Madame alone.
Upon seeing a uniformed soldier rushing to find the Madame, he stopped him.
"What is it?"
"Your highness," he greeted, "Reporting the bride's sedan is blocked by Third Prince's demon wolf pet."
"Hei Mu? How strange?" He wasn't that heartless to leave the shaken Madame another problem, plus it is his brother's doing.
"Lead."

Hua Chun Meili was actually rejoicing because it seems her cousin thoroughly planned ahead.
She sat comfortably on the sedan whilst waiting for her to return.
However her hapiness and comfort was fleeting when she heard someone happily shouted, "Fourth Prince!"
'Aye chihuahua, who dares obstruct the plan!'
She opened the sedan's window whilst peeking, trying to find the culprit.
Her hand pulled the beads blocking her sight and she felt air was knock out of her system upon seeing a familiar face!
Her face burned, as the sensual images that had been locked in the depths of her brain started unraveling.

Is she cursed with the proverb, enemies meeting on a narrow road?
'Is he going to take my little Yiqie away?'
'No, what if he would reject my son!'
Remembering the eager eyes of her son whenever he asks about his father made her heart hurt.
She really loves her son to death, even though the son she brought up was to filial on the father he never met. Even though she spats and weaves a lot of lies to stain the reputation of the demon prince, her son was only beaming as if he was hearing praises!
Upon predicting the demon prince would look at her, she let go of the beads and closed the window.
Her heart was racing whilst secretly prompting her cousin to return early.
The demon wolves whined upon feeling the oppressing aura from the Fourth Prince, they unwillngly gave way.
The Fourth Prince seems to have time as he decided to escort the bride's sedan.
Hua Chun Meili was feeling nothing but dread and panic.
"The bride has arrived!" Her heart jump on her throat upon hearing the announcement.
If she jumps on that small cauldron of fire she would be recognize as the Mai's daughter-in-law!
Moreover, she had a very big problem, the Fourth Prince, she hopes he wouldn't recognize her!
She silently prays this shenanigan of her cousin don't backfire. But she knew that it would because they were already in front of the Mai's household!
"Milady," a maid signals for her to leave the sedan.
She was crying in her heart, she wouldn't complain anymore on how rocky the sedan is as long as she would be glued to it.
With a sigh she could only slow down her pace. Thus she slowly walked out of the sedan, but her foot seems to have other ideas. She actually slipped on the stool and she knew that it was the curse of her always tripping.
"Kyah!" With a yelp she covered her face.
However her body was violently pulled and when she realized she was in an embarrasing pose.

How come when it was her, it felt like it was a survival game ah?!
Her breath hitched and she felt the collar of her clothes was choking her! She knew her face was turning red, as air stopped on circulating in her body?
The guest stared at how valiant the Fourth Prince saved the bride! With one swoop of his mighty hand he grabbed the back collar of the bride and pulled her up before her face would fell flat on the pavement!
Now the bride's feet was dangling whilst the prince held the back collar as her only support.
Meanwhile, Hei Xie felt familiarity on the lady he was holding up. He couldn't help but annalyze the lady in front of him.
"Kuh!!! KUH!!" Hua Chun Meili exaggerated her coughing to remind him he should let go, or she'll reincarnate!
Hei Xie hurriedly placed her down.
She hurriedly sucked in deep breaths as she ket cursing the demon prince. However she was rather surprised when a sword came flying towards her!
With a fast reaction she hurriedly bend her waist backward, creating an arc, in her dodging action the beads hindering her face parted baring her face to the Fourth Prince!
She saw how his eyes widened and he looked shock, but upon remembering the sword aiming for her life she tossed her thoughts about Hei Xie to the gutter.
"Who dares!" She angrily roared as she destroyed the beads hindering her sight.
The guest were all shock, but she couldn't care less, she needed the culprit. Upon seeing the demon wearing the same wedding attire whilst holding a scabbard she got the culprit.
"Ara~ the groom is very excited to see the face of the bride how sweet," she said with gritted teeth.
With fast movements, the flowers decorating the whole wedding all floated. The petals detached and with a flick of her hand the colorful petal turned into a storm of sharp weapons rushing to injure the groom!
General Mai easily swept them away by burning them.
The guests were all stunned! Why were the groom and bride fighting? No, the real question is, where is the real bride?!
Hua Chun Meili pulled out a sword from a stunned soldier, she then swiftly attacked General Mai.
The two exchanged blows, but Hua Chun Meili was fiercer, "How dare you attack me! If that was your real bride, who is head over heels on you, would you still throw that sword?!"
He gave a grin, confirming her suspicion, since they were very close her heard him say, "After all, my heart yearns for another."
She was caught off guard by his answer giving him the chance to send her sword flying out of her hands.
They stood two meters apart, a sword pointed at her neck, but her knuckles balled and her eyes glaring!
"Hehe, you deserve to be a single dog!"
General Mai was only scaring her, but he didn't expect her to boost her speed using her powers, thus she appeared before him and her hands gripped tightly on his hair!
The pain on his scalp jolted his hand to throw the sword away and unconsciously crawling on her hair to pull them too1
They were hot on heels brawling. They punch, bit and pulled each others hair forgetting their immortal powers.
They were disheveled but still continued, the guards tried to stop them but they were only thrown away like paper dolls.
"How dare you deceive my cousin sister! In the first place, why did you not show your true colours damn you!" She cried and with all her might she pulled his hair.
"Sssss, it is not my fault that stupid cousin of yours fell for my handsome face! And besides, I already found my true love!"
Cringing at his words she pushed him until he landed flatly on the ground.
"You! You dare say it's not your fault! You gave her a false hope, that false hope lead her to lose her pride and love you unconditionally! Do you know what true love even means?! My poor Meimei! She even rushed to find replacement upon losing the rings the demon emperor sent her, for her to present to you!!"
He suddenly turned ghastly pale and look around to see his mother look happily and showed a red jade bangle which is the real object sent by the emperor, what is this about rings?
He then remembered the first time she showed it to him, those unknown rings, it was the same as the soul binding ring, where two souls must give up a bit of there soul and will become a connection for the both of them, sensing where they are and how they feel.
The downside, however, when one partner would take the ring off it would cut the connection and destroy the other wearing it.
He finally remembered he destroyed those upon recognizing such danger it possess, who would've thought the fool actually thought it was a very necessary object in their wedding!
He stood up and wanted to go and look for the lady but...
"Jiejie! I am back I have finally got the ring back!" a huffing beautiful lady with a goofy smile dazzlingly waved at the young woman he brawled with.
Looking around she was shocked at what she saw everything was a mess!
The groom was all beaten up and her jiejie was also clawed and dishevelled.
The guests were all frightened.
Flustered she cast her magic and everything went back to normal like nothing happened even the guest, guards, groom and her jiejie were back to normal not a speck of wounds.
"This little one apologizes for being late and using my cousin as a proxy of my own wedding, such shameless one is not worthy of entering this household," she kowtowed shocking all of them.
Their anger disappeared when the beautiful woman was apologizing and felt sorry for her situation. Pitiful eyes were looking at her.
Aye, such a waste if only they could steal her for their household!
"Meimei, let's cancel this marriage now," Hua Chun Meili went to her and pulled her up, she whispered, "Meimei please don't hurt yourself now!"
Hua Chun Meili maybe a simpleton but she was no fool. This cousin of hers arrived earlier and heard everything the half sister has said, but pretended like nothing happened.
"I love him the most, it is a burden and pleasure to carry such feeling."
Hua Chun Meili stiffened and was even surprised how resolute she was, she knows what awaits her if she steps into the Mai Houshold but still bravely sacrificed everything just to be with the demon's general.
She silently let's go of her cousin, she could only watch her donned the most beautiful smile as she was ushered by her future mother-in-law to change.
The figure look delicate but at that moment to Hua Chun Meili, she saw a warrior willing to fight for her feelings.
Her eyes drifted to the groom but she was surprised because the groom was staring at her cousin with sadness and longing?
"I really don't get it," she whispered, was love too valiant that anyone who feels it needed to lose something to be able to keep it?
Whilst distracted an unknown strong force pulled her, making her fly into someone's embrace, her heart raced and a bad omen knock her guts out.
She then remembered the Fourth Prince!
Trying to protest she was teleported into a garden. Gathering her energy she freed herself from his claws.
"Aiya who might this gentleman be?" she asked casually while looking for a way to escape.
"It is indeed quite saddening, the mother of my child is a bit noob akin to a goldfish but I'll take what I can get," he smiled deviously. She nearly coughs blood, such shamelessness!
"En, this one has never forgotten the shameless stranger who eats my tofu then ruined my bright future in love!"
Summoning her powers she manipulated the roots of the plants and she mercilessly bound him.
"Angry? But I thought I really did better than those lame yellow books," he muttered flustering her in embarrassment.
She opened her palms and connected her qi to the ground, vines festered out of the ground entwing with each other creating a sword. It looked like a wooden sword but it was sharp as the metal once.
Hua Chun Meili then attack him once again, forcing him to break out from her vines and block her using his sword.
The swords clanged and made an irritating screeched, which truly reflect how she felt.
"Wangfei, now, now, cutting me won't make any difference. And I was also not at fault being drugged and a beauty laid on my bed, of course, I am tempted."
He suddenly caught her wrist and thought she would surrender but she suddenly summoned a vine and wrapped him.
He suddenly laughed in amusement never in his life did he got trapped, but the little minx finally did it!
"Now stay still and let me slice you thoroughly!" She dashed with her sword aiming for his neck, however... The guy was a black belly.
When they were close enough Hei Xei destroyed the vines then he held both of her hands, as a web suddenly appeared behind her and stuck at her back. He was pinning her while amusingly looking at her.
"Let me go!" she cried while struggling but he only smiled.
"So where is my son?"
A simple question shook her to the core.
He was going to take him!
"Son? When did we ever?!"
"Stubborn little lass, however, I know his around Hei kingdom. And if I will find him...."
Not wanting him to continue she manipulated all the flowers around them turning the petals into a sharp object to cut herself out.
She then manipulated it back and attacked Hei Xie nearly cutting him but a wave of his hand the petals withered.
He chuckled because the lady was gone.
The little lass wasn't that strong but has a high survival instincts.

In the midst of the festivites in the demon realm, a fairy was having a lovely tea ceremony underneath beautiful cherry tree.
"Young Miss, Seventh Miss Hua has returned safe and with a child," a servant came and informed her.
Her hands paused and trembled upon hearing such news, her expression remain passive but was betrayed by the tone of her voice.
"Oh, as the saying goes, a weed will always comeback no matter how you try to kill, but this time I'll be pulling the roots to destroy such weed completely!"
This wasn't supposed to be the result she wanted.
Hua Chun Meili should be suffering under the hands of that ruthless masochist Hei Mu!
Now that she returned what would happen to everything she had gained and even to the love of her life?
The servant left upon seeing her hand gesture, when she left the beautiful tea set was thrown into the tree leaving harsh sounds of porcelain breaking.
"Hua Chun Meili!"
