Hua Chun Meili kept on pacing back and forth as it was already sundown. Neither a shadow nor a scent of little bun and Kun can either be seen nor smell. She is growing impatient and thought of overreacting situations in her head.
Meanwhile amidst her battle of nerves, Hua Yiqie and Kun were practically galloping like wild colts to reach back home.
Kun was frustrated he can't change back to his original form for the to easily go back, however, it was long been the first rule of his Mistress, no magic.
"Master, shortcut!" Kun decided to show the path he usually takes when he sneaks out to snatch chickens in the village.
Quick with their feets they turned, Hua Yiqie was rather surprised because the path was dense and a bit unsafe, it had a lot of thorny paths, he deduced that the sly fox before him might had been using this path to catch chicken!
But he had no time to lecture him, as they didn't have time to care about the spider webs clinging on their face or the steep paths.
However, in the little boy made an abrupt stop when his father radar caught a whiff of his father's aura.
"Master stop idling or mistress would turn beast mode on us!" Kun reminded upon seeing him made a pause at the most crucial time of their lives.
However little bun just ignored him and walked towards a big tree. His steps were slow, afraid that he might startle his father away. Excitement bubbled inside him, his little head poke out of the tree and under the tree rests a pale looking man. His little legs shook upon smelling the thick scent of blood around his father, soon the joy he had turned into fear!
"Father," he called then he felt a tremendous panic strike him.
"Father!" He called, scared. He tried to wake the man up.
Kun panics upon hearing his wails, with fast movements he hurriedly caught after him. However he was surprised to see him hugging a stranger, before he could pull his young master away, his master suddenly activated his power.
"Young master-" Kun was very worried, healing someone using their auras could create a backlash if their auras doesn't match.
He was afraid the little boy could get hurt, but seeing him using his powers he couldn't stop it because he was even scared that if he interferred the backlash would even be greater.
He stood, watching silently and praying that everythhing should go well.
Hua Yiqie's eyes turned purple and his tiny horns popped out. Tiny dark orbs floated out of his body, it slowly entered on the man's body, the wounds were too deep and he was just still a child thus he could only heal it but not completely.
Upon seeing the bleeding stopped, he still pouted when he saw the wound wasn't all healed.
"Mother," he exclaimed upon recalling that his mother could do so much more than him.
He knew she usually evades his father, but that is when his father was healthy, besides he recalls his mother's rule..
"If your father is here, tell me so we can let him chase after us."
How can his father chase them when his this injured, they should have a time out, plus, he can't lose a father at a young age ah!
The man wasn't healed a hundred percent, but he was out of danger and he's also unconscious.
Kun finally could breathe in, he hurriedly turned into a big fox beast, as ordered by Hua Yiqie, he unwillingly carried the man as they walk back home.
"Young master, you seem to be in a good mood?"
"Kun, isn't this a sign that Mother and Father should finally get together," he gave a smile.
Kun shuddered at the calculative smile the child had, "Young master, it seems you didn't inherit anything from your mother."
A fox and a boy bickered on the way back home.
At the manor, Hua Chun Meili kept pacing back and forth, she hoped her son has never been thrown in the prison cell or has been bitten by a snake or worse kidn*pped!
"Mistress!" she heard Kun called.
She angrily ran towards the front gate to scold them, however, she was baffled on what she witnessed.
"Mother," little bun happily said while pointing at the man.
"Kyahhh, forget about you being kidn*pped. I should worry you are going to kidnap someone! Qieqie, I know you want your father, but you can't kidnap a random person just to have one! Where did you get that thing to return it now!" she shook her son back and forth, until he became dizzy.
"Mother," little Bun calmed her mother down.
"Look at who I found?" he happily squealed.
"Damn boy, that's called abducting, not finding a lost and found thing!"
"But this is Father, I felt his aura is the same as mine," the little bun glowed.
She nearly spits out all her saliva and chokes on the air, "Even worse! Throw that man away!"
Her face turned red as she tries to pull him away.
"No, Mother don't throw Father away," he pleaded with his doe eyes, as if he knew his pleading gaze has a large impact on his mother.
"Mother, you specifically always reminded me upon settling here in the mortal world, that if ever I felt Father nearby, I should tell you so we could let him chase us again. But Father has been injured heavily this time, we can't let him chase after us injured, right?"
The longwinded thought process of the child made Kun mutter, "Mistress's longwinded thought process is the only thing you ever inherit, somehow I wonder if it is good or bad."
Hua Chun Meili actually said that to stop the child from asking too much questions she couldn't answer, who would've thought the child twisted her words. Look away, don't fall against his ploy!
Gathering her will to look away, in the end, she lost her internal battle.
"Alright," Kun hurry up and put him in one of our guestrooms.."
"Can I sleep with him?" the little bun suddenly applied the- give him an inch and he wanted a mile, "With you?"
"Sweety, how about you choose, feather duster or a branch?"
The child knew when to retreat, "Then, I'll watch over him for tonight. Mother, don't regret not taking this opportunity to sleep with Father ah!"
"Hua! Yiqie! Is your butt itchy?!"
The child hurriedly followed Kun, before his mother's hand would soon slap his butt cheeks till they fall off.
Seeing the mischievous boy sprinting away in high speed, she couldn't help but question herself, did she raise a rascal and a white eyed wolf child?
"That sweet boy is turning into a rascal. Kiki, where do you think he got such attitude?"
Kiki looked at her Mistress, "Well Mistress, look at the brightside, he didn't inherit your cowardness and laziness, he'll grow up just fine."
"Somehow your words feel strange in my ears."
"Mistress, let's go now and check on the patient young master bought."
"Kiki, he isn't bought, he got kidn*pped by a little rascal," Hua Chun Meili and her young servant bickered as they follow.
Hua Chun Meili stared at the strange yet familiar man lying on a futon.
"Mother, can you heal him?"
Hua Chun Meili doesn't have the ability to heal, looking at the expecting eyes of her child she gave a sigh.
She gently took his hand and was rather surprised, "Kiki and Kun go get bandages and a hot water."
"Yes, Mistress."
"Yiqie go outside for a bit," the boy obediently complied.
When they were both alone she couldn't help but snicker, "The mighty bully had became a fallen mortal. You dare threaten me back in the nether realm!"
She cheekily pinched his cheeks, "I can easily heal you since your physiology had been turned into a man, but seeing you in your weak form makes me want to keep you so I can settle your accounts with me!"

Wounded he tried to rest on the tree. It was quite lucky for those spies that his sickness appeared when they were fighting.
Ever since he was a child he had a weak frail body, after nourishing it to health, he thought he was completely okay. However his body reacted strangely to the medicine given to stabilize his condition. He started to have paralysis and be unconscious for an hour and this happens anytime his body is exhausted.
"Is this my end?"
The wound was deep and he lost a lot of blood. He chuckled and couldn't help, but he thought it was so ironic, in the battlefield they call him a soldier made of steel, yet steel is what will soon reap his soul.
He thought it was over for him until a sweet voice called. It was full of worry and he was touched by it, he lost consciousness however before that he felt all the pain subsided.
He woke up in the first ray of the sunrise, but was baffled because he felt he woke up in a dream.
A cute child was sleeping beside him, his lips were pouted and his cheeks were red due to the warmth in the room. Saliva was dripping on his mouth, small giggles slipped on his tiny mouth.
Due to his stirring, it woke the child. When the child opened his eyes he was stunned because his eyes met beautiful violet eyes, this isn't a normal human's eyes!
However when the child rub his eyes it turned brown.
"Is this the effect of the medicine?" he mutters.
The child looked at him then smiled sweetly.
"Good morning, father!" The child said with a smile.
Father! The child called him father!
"Qieqie!" A gentle voice called, and before he could react, a young lady enters and it baffled him further.
"Mother, father is awake!" the child hopped and was definitely thrilled.
Mother?
Child?
His gaze drifted back and forth to Hua Chun Meili and the young boy, who somehow is the spitting image of himself!
This is definitely the effect of a numbing medicine, usually it makes the person hallucinate, he tried to create a logical explanation to rationalize information he had just receive, because if he didn't. He thought he had losed his mind!
