Forty Tritium’s water was cold. Just putting my foot in felt like plunging it into an ice bath. Or colder. Below freezing, maybe. Salt water froze at a colder temperature than plain. Maybe Tritium salt water had an even lower freezing point. I yelped, and almost pulled back. It wasn’t too late. I could pull my foot back and hop into the suit.
