“Yes, I-I can,” she never stuttered. it must have been my brother’s good looks affecting her. He must have realized that because he just nodded gratefully and we went off to the mansion. “So you and Leanne, huh?” I poked him and he just looked at me like I’m crazy. “No, I’m dead,” that memory of him dead is still in me and hearing it from him just makes me feel so much fury and sadness. I should have stopped it. He pats my arm, “it’s okay, Sophia, you did everything you could,” he says and adds, “besides, I got to make amends with Dad and be the prince of Trivia town.” I gape at him, how did I not know about that? “Not good enough,” I say, and he just shoves me playfully, starting a running contest since we don’t have much time and god knows what they’re doing inside my living room.
