One cold afternoon, Linda stands outside a restaurant she has just applied to. She already knows the answer before the manager speaks. As expected, she is rejected because she is not a graduate. That moment breaks something inside her. She sits on the pavement, exhausted and defeated, and cries openly. She has tried so hard, yet nothing seems to work.
That is when Judith notices her.
Judith had stepped out for her lunch break alone, as she always does. She is not fond of crowds or unnecessary conversations. As she walks past the restaurant, she sees Linda sitting there, clearly distressed. Judith stops. She hesitates for a moment, then walks closer and asks what is wrong. Linda, too tired to pretend, tells her everything, about her parents, her decision to stop school, and her endless search for a job.
Judith listens quietly. She is not good with emotions, but she believes in action. Without saying much, she asks Linda to come with her. Confused but desperate, Linda agrees. They get into Judith’s car, and she drives through the busy streets of London. When they arrive, Linda is shocked. Before her stands a large, elegant building with a bold name displayed at the front: Elevé Designs. Linda stares in awe. She never imagined her life would lead her there that day.
