I remember feeling excruciating pain from the cold before passing out. After that, I recalled feeling pain cover my entire body, especially my mark. It burned but I couldn’t scream to tell anyone my pain.
I was struggling but I had no control over anything. The pain finally subdued and I felt relief. It felt like a weight was lifted off my chest. I tried to connect with Onyx but I was trapped inside. I felt Ares’s warmth close to me. I wanted to wake up but I couldn’t.
